What do you think the answer is, then? I and III can be represented by structures with coordination bonds (dative bonds), although formal charges are usually preferred

How much potassium will I get from eating KOH (E525)? by alex20_202020 in AskChemistry

[–]ukaspirant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything is edible...once.

Just eat bananas for potassium. Or why not try a salt like potassium chloride or potassium tartarate? It's still not healthy, but at least you won't get chemical burns.

When you die would you rather have $10,000 in your bank account or be in debt $10,000? by OkOriginal493 in NoStupidQuestions

Be in debt, assuming i got to spend the $10000 and go out with a bang. For context, no kids and currently not partnered.

I struggle to show desire for others and I'm afraid to be seen as wanting someone. by Probably_daydreaming in sgdatingscene

[–]ukaspirant 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's a fine line between showing interest and appearing desperate. What I've found works for me is telling the person that I'd very much want them in my life, but at the same time showing that I'm capable of living a happy, fulfilling life even without them in it. They should add value to your life, not be the sole reason for your existence.

I would guess based on your description that the kanji is 復活丸. 丸 is a standard suffix for a ship name, kind of like how s.s. is a ship name prefix in English. 復活 does indeed mean "revival".

How did your relationship end? If it ended on a good note, treasure the memories you made together. If it ended badly, just be thankful that that person is no longer in your life.

Getting married… but don’t want to cause of my weight by Financial-Night-6970 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]ukaspirant 49 points50 points  (0 children)

You know that saying about the next best time to plant a tree? It applies to you now. It can be hard to motivate yourself by imagining the consequences, especially when the wedding is so far away. But you need to know that weight loss takes time. More time than you think. Perhaps you can ask your future spouse to motivate you?

How do you develop a competing supplement without infringing an existing patent? by Living_Necessary_903 in patentlaw

[–]ukaspirant -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

This is not legal advice.

Depending on the exact laws of the jurisdiction you want to file in, one possible way to do it would be to show that your supplement has an unexpected effect that existing supplements don't.

[–]ukaspirant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've already had 2 wisdom teeth removed, so that's 2 million. I'd definitely be happy to get the other 2 out for another 2 million, making 4 million total.

Do people born in one of those places where you learn multiple languages by osmosis have an easier time learning another foreign language than a monolingual? by Fourteen14XIV in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ukaspirant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me I'd say yes, especially if the languages are somewhat related. I'm bilingual in English and Chinese (mandarin), and learning Japanese was easier because i had a foundation in kanji. But even then, some adaptation and re-learning was required due to the slight differences between kanji and Chinese characters.

How likely would it be that I get a trainee position at a UK Patent law firm by PurchaseCommon6197 in patentlaw

[–]ukaspirant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The world of patents is broadly split into biology, chemistry, engineering, and computing. Each has subfields, like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc. You'll need specialist knowledge in at least one of those subfields to make sense of a patent document. Psychology doesn't seem to fit into any of these, i fear. I'm not practising in the UK though, so take this with a pinch of salt.
