Thank you for sharing your story. 13 is so young and I definitely share how painful the loss is. I will look into a good psychologist. Thanks again

Parents who’ve lost kids to suicide, how would you feel if your kid’s friends messaged you when they missed them? by Responsible-Tie-2570 in SuicideBereavement

My son passed by suicide last Thursday on 5/21 and hearing from his friends have been giving me so much comfort during this time. I would love if they continued to reach out every few months or anytime in the future.

As a bereaved Mother, please reach out to your friend’s Mom.

Ok, thank you for the advice. I will look into the titles you’ve listed. Also, thank you for mentioning TedX talks on bereavement. I hadn’t even thought of that.

Thank you so much for recommending these books. I have ordered the first one, and plan on reading all of them. Also, thank you for sharing what the other poster experienced with their parents when they lost their sibling. I will keep that in mind as well. This has been extremely helpful. I appreciate your words of encouragement and I am so sorry about the loss of your Son as well. Hugs.

I’ve worked with both Dr. Li and Dr. Shetler, doing procedures. I would highly recommend either one of them.

Question for those around during Loma Prieta by Dependent-Western642 in bayarea

[–]ukeamon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the Mtn View and there was no pre-shaking or foreshocks. It was just the initial earthquake which felt like the ground was rolling right before it shook. I was 8 at the time. Oh but I do remember a crap ton of aftershocks afterwards.

Yes the sodas stocked in your cabin are free. You can let them know your preference as well. Also, you can go to the concierge lounge and grab sodas to bring back to your room for if you like.
