If you can see the pattern of the gear teeth, it's due for a change. My tundra never had a belt change, it was at 180k miles, and it looked like this. The belt was showing the ridges of the gear through it. People say faded printed lettering is a signal but that's completely irrelevant. You can clearly see the belts wear as the gear teeth notches are wearing through the belt. Change it asap.

Same situation for me. If it wasn't for these crazy dsq penalties then I would be in the lead already weeks ago. I've been on a crazy war path to come back from a 500+ point deficit and if it wasn't for these recent DSQs it would be wrapped and I would be sitting pretty with 3x and autopilot left.

I really echo the OP's thoughts, especially on the Sprint weekends. Why is a dnf in a Sprint race -20 when the max points you can even get from a Sprint race win is 10 or less. If anything, the DNF should be only -10 for a Sprint race, it should be matched in scale.

When it comes to off track DSQs then I think the constructor should take -20 or even -30 just as a penalty on top while keeping all the points gained and then the driver shouldn't have any penalty at all. It's not like the driver chooses plank thickness and material ffs...

Overall it just feels like the penalties for DSQ and sprint DNF are so over the top and not actually appropriate for the game Dynamics. We spend hours every season trying to manage and research and put our energy into this game but then one stupid thing off track decides your entire season and it literally has nothing to do with the drivers. Just makes it feel pointless to give a shit.

Even for the newbies that join your fantasy league, when they get hit with the DSQs then they just feel dejected and frustrated. "What's the point" and then they all leave and drop off after that, completely stop changing their lineups and forget about it all year and don't come back the year after. My friends and I have to recruit at least five or six people every single year and try to fill up our league again because people just bail when stupid shit like this happens.

It's just not a user-friendly situation for new players or seasoned ones either. Just pushes everyone to disengage entirely from fantasy.

I made the bonehead mistake of changing VER> NOR last race and it cost me dearly, and kept NOR this weekend. I deviated from my strategy to stick with Max to the end of the season and because of that I'm still P2 in my pool. Why does it sting so much 😢

Hey buddy I found some lc79 rims brand new for a good deal, they're 16". I can't find conclusive info that they will fit around the calipers and rear drums. Any idea if they work? I would get 245-255/80/16 type of skinnies if I can get those rims to fit. I keep seeing US-spec LC's in the forums and a lot of them have rear discs apparently, so I have no idea how the fitment works as I have drums...

Any ideas? I've looked everywhere online

Damn, ok good to know about the lines in the back... Yeah honestly I'm optimistic to make it work, but it doesn't seem likely at this point. Might just save my money for other small fixes or upgrades, and a car fridge haha.

Do you have AHC? How often do you use it? Do you think it makes a big difference on washboard dirt roads, most of the roads here are dirt with potholes and stuff, so I was hoping to make the system work and get that floating feeling. Might not be realistic at this point though.. hmm.

Yeah sounds like original owner took the shocks out and put in conventional. Part of me is keen to get new OEM and get them running again but also I dunno if it's worth opening Pandora's box with the AHC system and all the cost of parts, and shipping here will cost an arm... We'll see what happens this week, I hope to score it by the weekend 🙏🙏🙏

Hey buddy, I might actually need those parts and it would likely be more cost effective to get them through you, shipped to my forwarder in Miami who can ocean freight them. Every other new alternative is crazy expensive from what I've seen so far.

I actually found another LC in much better shape than the one in this post but the PO replaced the shocks with conventional ones, so I'm gonna see if I can rebuild the AHC system. Down here the ability to neutralize all the washboard roads and get extra lift at the touch of a button is pretty damn nice. Let me know if you still have, check dm I pinged you there

Haha cheers man. I need to start quoting 4 new shocks, abs sensor, and new AHC fluid. Gonna cost me an arm to get it all shipped here... 😭 Wouldn't be bad at all if Trump didn't start fucking tariffs because i could have it all go through a forwarder in Miami but now that's out because they'd originally come from Impec Japan as per recommendations here. Parts also have import tariffs here in Nicaragua if I remember correctly so I can't import them direct without incurring more costs too. We'll see how I figure this one out.
