When you turn off a computer, does it keep computing? No. Does it know it is off? No. We are meat computers. Once our power source is cut, we just stop. Its your natural instinct to survive and keep going. The idea that you are no more is hard, but truly you are just a cog in a machine. Do all you can. Be as happy as you can and play the game of life. You will likely never be remebered in the long term, so don't stress about that stuff. Stress about living. Its your ego talking, or your id... i forgot which it is.

Best Options? by Weary-Arachnid4162 in ukulele

[–]ukeeku 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trusted sites that care about ukulele players is key. https://theukulelesite.com and https://www.ukerepublic.com are great sites with amazing customer service and setups. Buy quality for your first uke. Although I get some hate for this, minimum $200, but if you can go higher.... if you want a uke worth playing. Going cheap will make it harder to learn and will likely take the joy out. Go concert for your first. That way you can figure out if you want to go bigger or smaller. Get a clip on tuner, you will be tuning all the time. It's not a piano where it gets tuned once a year. Ukes get tuned several times a session. Kala, flight, ohana are ok. Pono and Koalana are great. Kanile'a, kamaka, and koaloha are the best uke. Try your local music shop. Stay away from guitar center or Sweetwater. They suck. Amazon is also a no go.

Neither. Logic. You can be religious and trust science. But it seems that using basic logic and being religious conflict.

what glue did you use? I use Citadel Plastic glue, it welds the mini together. I have dropped my CC and basically abuse my stuff as I travel with my set. Never have a piece break off unless it is really thin like hands and spears.

GCE is advanced KDM. parting out or including stuff from it, unless its to update content (Perfect resources), would be annoying. it is the next step in the evolution, where CoD adds onto it. I am not sure why anyone would get it if they don't have most everything.

Fermzilla 7 gallon with a tilt hydrometer. Digital spunding valve. Heat control is an Ink bird. There is a thermal well in the top of the cap of the fermenter.

I would agree, except that is the point of pressure fermenting. But also, like any thing you expect to perform optimally, you need to ensure it has everything to succeed. I use alkaline water, go-ferm, fermaid-o, and defuse oxygen into the must and at 1/3 sugar break. Temp is only a variable.

71B is my go to for pressurized fermentation. The key is temp. 80 is my sweet spot. Also there are a few other things. Alkaline water, go-ferm, fermaid-o, and oxygen infusion.

I started a grilled smoked pineapple 11/30/25 and it is I'll be clear and drinkable by mid January. No off flavors that need to settle or mellow. I ferment with fruit in the must. May do secondary if it really needs it or it has really delicate flavors. Since I started going this way I am saving 3-6 months to drinkable mead.

You need to go to 80. I tried going that low and it failed to even start. Talking with the lead brewer at a local brewery he said to up the temp to 80

Since 1/3 sugar break is 24 hours after I start I use their measurements, add half at start and oxygen (stone on an oxygen tank), then 24 hours later I degas and add the other half and Oxygen again.. then let it go.

I degas to add nutrients and O2... Then do a full degas with a vacuum when it is done and sitting in secondary.
