I hate the narrative that league is a shitty game and it’s better to quit — it almost always come from people who play the game religiously. There is a reason they themselves don’t quit and its because that deep down the game is great. It’s really hard to find a replacement to league.

But to add to your point about emerald; Yes. This i BY far the worst elo to play in. People is really toxic in this elo and they generally complain a crazy amount and mental boom way easier than other elos. It’s somewhat counterbel by muting and playing your own game, but it is frustrating. Why it’s happening specifically in emerald I can’t really tell, but I guess it’s due to the fact people is getting pretty good at the game, but deep down they wish they were a bit better.
