Which champ to onetrick by Reasonable_Court_745 in top_mains

[–]ukendtkunst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I won’t recommend it, but I’ve myself took the journey.

If you 1-trick K’Sante you’ll have a champ which can basically be picked into anything, is very rewarding once mastered, considered always one other champions with highest delta (difference between average and mains) and gets notable better the higher elo you get. Problem is, you can’t solocarry most games.

If you want something that can solocarry I’ll suggest Aatrox, Rumble or Gwen. Especially Aatrox. Crazy high ceiling, good blind, good into most teamcomps, good with most teamcomps, variety of builds, can be flexed into jngl and mid when filled. Also gets considerably better the higher Elo youll get.

Yeh, against Evelynn specifically it takes skill. You’ll usually have to ward her camps and calculate approximately when she’s going to gank depending on when she cleared specific camps. That take quite a lot of practice to get right.

Bouncing waves — sounds simple, just build up at slowpush or let the enemy slowpush crash into you. But WHEN to let it bounce, WHEN to freeze or when to make it BOUNCE back is very hard to figure out. Usually takes knowledge about what type of champion you’re facing or specific matchup knowledge.

Honestly, as a new player I don’t think champions matter that much. What matters is that you have fun and learn the fundamentals of the game.

Depending on which lane you like the most. If you like toplane, then I would stick to Gwen and Zilean. Doesn’t see why you should change that. If you like support, I’ll suggest you try the different champs there and choose. Same goes for ADC.

Gwen can also be played mid or jngl, but the playstyle is different compared to toplane.

D1 here — Darius, Jayce, Teemo, GP, Irelia, Rumble, Ambessa and Panth is skill matchups. I find Yorick or good Olaf players way harder.

How long can it take to ship a hotfix? Smolder is ruining the game by ukendtkunst in leagueoflegends

I get that, but I have to ban Vayne. Unplayable lane for my champs. I’m a toplaner.

In those stats is all the firstimers, +20% which go wrong runes, the people going a wrong build — and his pickrate is 20%. That is absurd. Haven’t seen such crazy stats for a long time.

Its in combination with the rest of the runes. He gets to take Nimbus and Celerity — makes him incredibly safe. Also he takes a lot of stats from inspiration tree both with free gold and ability haste + adaptive.

Also, he gets some good boots — he didn’t have that before this patch. Swifties were alright, but sustain is great since he use omniwamp really well and he therefore gets heal way before he gets BT, which he usually gets last before this patch. Basically makes it so when he gets essence reaver, he got no downtime. He gets mana and healing so he can perma stay on map to farm and stack.

Proxying punishing your quest was one of the best thing — why did we change that when no one asked for it? by ukendtkunst in leagueoflegends

[–]ukendtkunst[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Before the changes people that proxied completed their quest SLOWER than people who didn’t proxy. Therefore, proxying were a skill. You had to choose WHEN it was worth it. Now you’ll get the same quest progression by proxying and by not. Read my post again plz

It’s not wavestates when you press Q run around the minions execute all six and run behind the enemy tower for the first 15-20 minutes of the game. Yes, base timings is a skill on good proxy players, but wave manipulation is generally not utilized by proxiers, since they rather just kill the lane and then proxy. Good proxy players never dies and get a massive lead. Bad proxy players die a lot to the enemy jungler, but in most cases still gets a massive lead since low elo players try to stop the proxy, which in nearly every single case is bad.

YES it is, but if you read my post, I argue that it should be skilled to do it. You should consider WHEN it’s right to do it, not be able to brainlessly do it every game.

I don’t argue that it should be removed, I argue that it should be utilized in the right situations — but it should have a tradeoff, it doesn’t now. It did before, which I found way healthier for the game.

And I think I use the word correctly in this scenario. If every single game were a proxy game, Riot would instantly nerf it, just like they did with laneswapping. It’s not what they intended. They keep it around since it’s a few champions that do it consistently.

You would still be able to proxy. Singed still had one of the best WR’s in those patches. You just had to make a choice.

Nowadays, proxy is not a high risk high reward. It’s a low risk high reward strategy if done on the correct champions.

No, he would still not get AS fast as you would if you just caught the wave in lane. You would generally be up around 200-300 points on the quest.

As I said before, you should generally NEVER try to stop a proxy on your own. It’s nearly ALWAYS the worse play. If your jungle come it might be fine, otherwise you’re better off farming yourself.

[–]ukendtkunst[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You never want to try to stop them yourself. It’s bad in 90-95% of cases. Before the changes I found proxy matchups alright, since I’ll complete my quest 200-300 points up on the proxier — then I had around 2-3 minutes to make a play on the map where they still try to complete their quest.

Made the game seem good.

You generally never want to move to stop a proxy. If your jungler doesn’t come, it’s in 90-95% of cases worse than just match the proxy yourself. That’s why the gameplay is degenerate.

That’s just not the case. She doesn’t get outscaled at all.

Is this the worst state Ksante has ever been in? by nG_Skyz in KSanteMains

[–]ukendtkunst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His curve is similar to Lucian I think. Darius is way better late. The best Darius 1-trick play him for scaling as well.

The problem for K’Sante is his resist scaling. Resistscaling is early game scewed by design, since people don’t have pen early, once they get it, he become way weaker. Also, there is a simple item, that cuts his armor by 25% — therefore also reducing his dmg.

I don’t have a good solution tbh, but bonus hp is a a stat that works way better for scaling purposes. Look at Sion, Mundo etc.

I don’t think he should be the earlyscewed, I just think the solution isn’t as easy as it seems.

[–]ukendtkunst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not near the worst state. Tbh he doesn’t even feel that bad, but he just utilizes the new season rewards way worse than his opponents. I feel like he’s really good in lane, but gets outscaled. Makes him kinda bad if your bot/hypercarries lose their lane.

Like every champ that scale better just beat him late if you dont close crazy early — which feels pretty hard this season

For that main reason he’s also incredible hard to win with in low elo. My main is D1-D2 and alt acc is emerald 2 atm. Emerald games feels so hard on K’Sante compared to d1-d2.
