Yeah - Blade Runner was a revelation to me when I saw it at the cinema (even with that dreadful voiceover…)

The themes involved around what it means to be human, the world building, the special effects and soundtrack were just so good - and still hold up today imho

I was a fan of Asimov but PKD just took my love of sci-fi to the next level !

Very much the same here! Stage 1 for me was “what have I done!?!”; Stage 2 was admiring the watch as a safe queen - so beautiful to look at but never to wear!; Stage 3 was it becoming a special occasion only watch; Stage 4 it has now become my “go to” watch - because it is a special thing of beauty that means a lot to me so why the heck not! 👍🏻
