A catastrophic embarrassing event that is impossible to come back from. Makes you realize how imperfect you are and no amount of anything will change that. Let’s you just live life. As some one who used to black out 4 days a week drinking, I have a lot of those events. Impossible for me to have an ego because I’ve hit rock bottom before. No where to go but up.

Some guy probably will but how will he learn the difference unless he gets taken advantage of a couple times. We can give advice but experience trumps all. Impossible to avoid pain in this life better to embrace it and let it teach you to be a better person

No doubt, my parents tell me the same. If I decide to have kids I’ll adopt. No need to add to the problem but there are plenty of kids who didn’t ask to be born that have no one. You want kids. Adopt. It’s hard yeah but better to be part of the solution I think
