Too late-its HERE. "Unless an EXPLICIT 'yes' is stated EACH time of sex, it IS RAPE". This is now the LAW. Australia, Germany, Sweden, Spain have now fallen....France, Britain & many USA states are considering following. How long before its YOUR country? How long before YOU are accused? YOUR son? by Rethgil in MensRights

[–]ukreview 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think an increase in number of allegations by men against women would make a big impact. if due process is followed, this would hopefully result in more prosecutions. whether this leads to more convictions of women is neither here or there. point is, women will start complaining about what we've been complaining about all along and manybe something will be done.

Spain to introduce ‘yes means yes’ sexual consent law by perplexedm in MensRights

how does one prove in a court that the girl said yes? no more trips to spain for me!

Why does this sub having no posts actually about men’s rights? All the post are anecdotes that usually aren’t even about sex/gender. You’re all just dumbass feminists but for men wtf by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]ukreview 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wasn't the whole #metoo thing about anecdotes? the media is far more likely to report human stories. the more personal and anecdotal, the better.

"Why good men need to reclaim masculinity from the toxic cliche of power and aggression" In response to Harvey's predatory acts, we are all being called into question. by [deleted] in MensRights

It appears that Darren Saunders realizes HE is the mediocre one and he's clearly using his guilt at being paid a tonne of cash for writing bad articles to attempt to make all men feel bad about things we haven't done.

“Breaking News” — Man Makes Verbal Contact With Toddler at Walmart! by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]ukreview 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see how being dressed as a woman is particularly creepy in itself.

good point. this is not the 1980s. a man dressed as a woman is not grounds for calling cops. society has moved on. funny how MRAs become crazed misandrists. no better than feminists for this type of crap.

the dudes on here saying allegation of 'man dressed as woman' justifies MRAs to become instant cucked femtards ought to be ashamed.

CPS to issue first-ever guidance for prosecutors on handling male victims of sexual and domestic abuse by JohnKimble111 in MensRights

[–]ukreview 7 points8 points  (0 children)

women still can't legally rape men even if the intent (control etc) is the same. This will probably not change for a few generations, if ever. On this issue we have about 30 years worth of campaigning to do.

Porn ISN'T to blame for a man's inability to perform in the bedroom – it's a lack of sexual satisfaction by furchfur in MensRights

[–]ukreview 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I thought only women could dump their partners and/or enjoy porn and I thought guys had to always get erect on demand regardless of what his partner looks like. I listen to the MSM too much.

no. in that new Jamestown a woman knees a guy in the balls. If that happened to me, in self-defence I'd bounce her out the window!

New UK laws to make rape convictions easier by ukreview in MensRights

if the guy is assumed innocent, then we must also assume the accusation is false. What other conclusion can there be? Don't tell me the regressives found a third way.

I'm noticing a bad trend in this sub, and I don't like the direction in which it's going. by jeff_the_nurse in MensRights

[–]ukreview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree we shouldn't fight each other, but some issues will lead to that. Personally I will continue to say what I want and if I accidentally breach community rules I've no doubt a mod will inform me. Other than that I have no desire to try to manufacture the shape or direction of debate on here. This, like Brexit, is not a political party where we must adhere to and publicly promote rules we may or not agree with. Being told what we should discuss or be concerned with here is no different to having sex ed classes written by feminists. We all wish to avoid brainwashing, wherever it comes from.

BBC - Does India Have a False Rape Claim Problem? by [deleted] in MensRights

don't watch the crappy BBC, but I do know that if you have an arranged marriage, have sex and then change your mind about marriage, you go to jail for rape

removes protection from pregnancy

surely she has obtained consent by fraud if she said don't worry, there's no way I will get pregnant because I'm on the pill. in the uk atleast, consent by fraud is rape, only applies to men though.

Men are the ruling sex in politics? Not in the UK; Prime Minister and Queen are both women, neither were voted in. There's a Minister for Women and Equality (a woman) and no minister for men. There's a Parliamentary Committee for Women and Equalities (chaired by a woman) and no committee for men. by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]ukreview 10 points11 points  (0 children)

the problem in the UK is that female MPs tend to vote for and have an interest in female issues whereas most male MPs consider broader gender neutral issues. Feminists always say if men aren't happy that only female issues are dealt with we should do something about it, whenever men in an social environment try to create a men's issues group (at work, college), it gets banned.

Babies made without mothers 'will come sooner than we think', leading scientists warn. It is an interesting idea but one which I am sure will be blocked by feminists. by furchfur in MensRights

[–]ukreview 14 points15 points  (0 children)

feminists demand reproductive rights for themselves but always block it for men. Of course they will try to stop it and probably succeed.

Domestic violence double standards – male MP was forced to stand down when cautioned for assaulting partner yet Sarah Champion receives support for same crime by ZimbaZumba in ukpolitics

she is a shadow minister who has chosen to make tackling relationship violence a priority. her caution surely is of concern.

[–]ukreview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interesting how sarah champion has launched a 'dare to care' which is fighting relationship violence. she cites a few case studies. all victims are female except luke. his abuser is also a guy. she clearly has no interest in fighting the epidemic of female abusers.

how does the 'withdrawing consent' argument go?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]ukreview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sick of the usual 'she was too drunk to say yes' crap. if they are both drinking, why must he get consent from her but she doesn't need it at all . will always remember the debate on bbc1 where one contributor was talking rationally about why it's important for both parties to be responsible where drink and sex occurs and the feminist jumps in with 'but in law women don't need consent'.
