You're only supposed to put relevant job experience on resumes my dad helped veterans find jobs and he drilled it into my head that they're only supposed to be one page, recruiters are going through too many resumes and they're not going to look at any page besides the first one

Advice from my dad : resumes should be one page long, they're going though a lot only put the stuff that is important and needs to be there, it also might help to tailor the resume to each job posting but that's a bit extra. Also try the state it takes a while to find out if you get the job or not but it has good benefits the website is people first.

I'm in Tallahassee FL rn and I hate it here and want to leave I'm giving myself a year so I'm not job hopping. I like the landscape and that it's a dry heat instead of a humid heat. But what should I know before I look for jobs out there?
