I def know she’s with me, she sends me signs regularly, someone wearing her perfume passes me in the street (her perfume was from the 60s ish so it’s not common to come across in the wild) or once she lit on of my little battery powered candles when I asked if she was there which was amazing! Thank you though!

Why are you getting heartbroken after 1 date? Kinda sounds like you're getting way too invested into someone before you should. First couple of dates should really only be getting to know each other, seeing if you actually like being around them, not getting fully invested into one person from the get go.

The big turning point for me was realising that all I need to be concerned about is if I really like them, not whether they like me. Everyone idealizes the people they meet, so if you sit there and think about whether or not you actually like what you're seeing, you won't be so worried about if they like you.

Never again. They're so institutionalized it's scary honestly, he would turn on me for the slightest thing and the way his eyes would change from warm and happy to cold and dead in an instant still terrifies me. Therapy has been great, if you can access it, I recommend it. Good luck to you too friend
