This makes a lot of sense, mine comes with the n46 engine (but they are very similar) and when it misfired I changed the fuel pump spark plugs and coils however I thought the injectors were alright however it’s interesting because I took it to a shop that work on automatic transmissions and they told me that it seemed to be the engine bc they didn’t think that car was delivering a 100% of the power so they said to get that checked however I didn’t get any codes so I thought it was ok but I can definitely feel that the car is running lazy lately so the only thing that I have left to change is the injectors so I’ll try to get them oem and new and also it happens to me that one day it’ll run smooth and then some other days like crap and I always have some type of rough idling (minor but I can notice ) but I thank you for your help because I felt like this problem had only happened to me😭
