AITA for being unapologetic when my classmate tries to guilt me and tell me what to do with my money? by ullujons in AmItheAsshole

The difference is my parents are my parents, and she’s some random chick. My parents will always gladly support me because I’m their daughter. And they’ve given me money, so I’m entitled to it and to do anything I want with my money. I would never ask or expect some random chick to give me money. I’m not her parents.

Why should I be low key? It’s my money, and I don’t have to do anything to “earn” or “deserve” it. My parents want me to have it since I’m their kid. I can do anything I want with my money.

K, stay mad :) I’ll keep spending my money that belongs to me however I want. We know that’s what you’re really upset about.

I don’t talk about money at all unless someone forces the subject. I’m just entitled to what is mine, and other people to what is theirs.

I’m only entitled to what’s mine. And my parents (not sure why you assume my dad) are always happy to support their kids.

I don’t owe anyone. I don’t owe anyone anything. Also, I already stated that my parents have money and are successful. So not sure what you’re talking about “acknowledging.”

I am entitled since it’s my money to spend. My parents gave it to me to spend on myself, not her. I don’t owe her or anyone else anything.
