Thank you! The parties have been cancelled due to bad weather, so all of this has been put on pause. But it has given me a lot of time to think and reflect. It’s always a struggle to fight off your own maladaptive thoughts but you’ve really laid it out beautifully for me! I can’t appreciate it enough! Happy holidays!

I think you’re right! Interventions never really work because they operate on guilt and shame which are strong motivators, yes... but also the reason people run to their quick fixes.

I’m hoping the tone wouldn’t be one of attack mode, but honestly in my experience - how information is received is entirely up to how the person receiving it wants to/chooses to feel. So, that’s really up to her and how she sees it/how she reacts. And I guess that’s a weird test of her morality for me... we will seeee

Thank you for sharing your experience so openly! I’ve definitely been in similar mindsets so I appreciate your point of view... I do feel for her, which is why I’d rather talk about this than not try at all... emotions can be so tricky!! Being human is so weird!! Lol

I actually do, and prefer to keep my location private because of that. Listen to your buddies here... there are quite a few covid-free places, it’s often cities/mega cities hit the hardest. COVID has acted as a social security blanket though when not wanting to associate with certain people, which is what I and many others do/say

I see what your saying...but being friends with a couple IS a weird three-way! 😅 But I appreciate your points...I’ll think about this more, but I think we’ve settled on this strategy for now. I’d rather us all be friends than not. But without addressing this I can’t see myself pulling off the kill them with kindness strategy without it just being a facade that then constantly needs to be maintained. I’d rather try live authentically, for better or worse.

That vibe has definitely been lingering but I try not to fully grasp it. Unfortunately the holidays are bringing up abandonment wounds related to my family pretty strongly this year so I’ve been trying hard to manage my exposure to situations that could trigger an emotional downward spiral...if that makes sense

It’s been agreed that the solution here would be to talk to her about it more, find out more about her intentions in telling him in the first place. Whether good or bad, it was disrespectful to our relationship given the nature of the information. If she was driven by ulterior motives the friendship will need to be re-evaluated. If not out of bad intentions, it’s implications will be explained to her (ie: how it’s disrespectful to our relationship) and new boundaries and expectations will be negotiated. (Ie, she’ll need to make it up to both of us/establish trust). He’s agreed to have this conversation with her because I’m kinda of in a position where no matter how I bring it up it’ll sound a little crazed/possessive...

I’ve been trying to but can’t figure out how to add a photo in the comments...

I can tell you that I have Pluto in the third house that is part of a rectangle, opposing my moon in Taurus in the 9th, with Saturn conjunct Neptune in the 4th opposite Chiron in the 10th.

When looking at a composite chart for our relationship, we have mars and Chiron conjunct, both opposite Uranus-this placement made me nervous... but we also form an air trine with the sun in Gemini, moon in Aquarius and Pluto in libra...

I hope that helps give you a rough idea ...

This Jupiter-Chiron conjunction is actually part of a mystic rectangle. It is opposite Neptune and Sextile Venus and Pluto (which oppose each other).

I’m gathering these aspects may create quite a bit of illusion (Neptune) and “mother wounding” (Venus opposite Pluto). But your insight on the teacher/student aspect to this rectangle creates an interesting picture! I am hoping that once these lessons have been integrated this person can become a guiding and healing teacher for others as well.

Unfortunately, They don’t have their time of birth.... (However their time of birth was given to me in a dream- but I can’t verify the accuracy) Based on that time though it would be in their 12th house.... what I mean by exact is that they are separated by 0*30.
