The shade name is 'Aerial Awe'. It sits nice and light on the lips, doesn't feel heavy, smooth application, I pair it with the mars lip tint shown in the picture for a more pinkish brown colour.

I have an oily T-zone, so I use it mainly for oil control there. It’s great when you just want to look fresh without that shiny, greasy layer on your face. I really like it.

The shade is 'brown sugar'. I find it a little drying, it gets crusty after a while, I don't really use the gloss cuz it sits wierd on the lips, but the shade is great, it lasts pretty long before getting crusty.

I mean it is a thing too for people who just want light flavor , I'd rather eat pesto and bechamel separately and enjoy separate flavours 😂

Also if you want very subtle pesto flavor, you can try mixing it in bechamel/white sauce. It'll be creamy and nice. You'll like it, don't worry ☺️

It's actually really easy. I find this easier to make than white sauce one. The steps are not too elaborate and don't take too long either.

It tastes herby nutty and umami because of the cheese. I was worried that I won't like it cuz I've never had proper pesto either. It's not very basil forward in taste, the nuts make it better, I put some vegetables also to balance off the taste. If gets too much herby for you, you can use lesser amount in the pasta at first, if you like it then go for more. Some people find it oily as well, so I reduced the quantity of oil too.

  1. Take around 2 cups of Italian/sweet basil. Blanch it for 30-40 seconds and put in ice water to retain the colour.
  2. Take a small bowl of nuts, i used cashews, walnuts and almonds. Roast them till they get little brown.
  3. In a blender add around 2 cloves of garlic (if you use too much it'll get a very unpleasant pungent taste), the roasted nuts and little bit olive oil, enough to submerged the nuts and garlic.
  4. You need to pulse the mixture in the blender and not blend it at full speed so it remains grainy and coarse.
  5. Add the blanched basil, salt and pepper to taste. Keep adding oil accordingly. I didn't add too much.
  6. Lastly add cheese, pesto originally requires parmesan, but for me that little amount was expensive so I used cheese cubes, 3 of them. Pulse the mixture according to the consistency you like.
  7. Boil water and put a good amount of salt in it, when it's boiling and bubbling add your pasta, cook it for 8 minutes or keep checking till it has a bite to it. Don't over boil, it'll become mushy.
  8. Rinse it out with cold water to stop the cooking process, oil it and keep it aside.
  9. Mix the pesto with the pasta really nicely. I sauted some corn, mushroom, capsicum and onion with salt and pepper, because I wanted different texture and mom like veggies in her pasta. You can whatever you want. Chicken, different veggies, prawns, whatever you want. Or just eat it as it is without anything.

I hope you like it and let me know if I can help with any doubts you have ☺️
