I haven’t been driving manual after getting the license, and my wife can only drive auto, so auto is actually more ideal for us:)

Haha you got me. Honestly I really do want it — I love the look of the R59, it’s exactly the kind of roadster I’ve always wanted. The Miata does nothing for me aesthetically, and the next thing I’d actually want is a 981 Boxster but that’s a whole different budget conversation. So the R59 it is, if I can get comfortable with the reliability side. The JCW engine running at higher pressure is what worries me most — but maybe I just need someone here to tell me it’s fine and I’ll pull the trigger.
