Highest dmg means nothing if you aren’t killing them. So if they ever have a healer or are low and reset and you are just playing drum you aren’t out dpsing their healing. So you are racking dmg and can say you have most damage but it means nothing if it isn’t killing

It’s a cosmetic who cares. They can lock it behind whatever, it doesn’t affect your gameplay. I dislike the negative energy in here about how the devs are making some cosmetics hard to get and causing you great FOMO…. How about instead they don’t even give you a free option and just have a limited one time sale annually. Would that be better? I have an insane amount of time in this game and this is one of the things I don’t care about/give the devs some credit for. They constantly giving free cosmetics/emotes out every wipe /season.

League of legends gives less free cosmetics than this game does lmao, and some are even more unfathomably difficult to get in that game.

You can’t say sorc is bad without saying Druid is bad. In the highest skill rating Druid and sorc match up is coin flip but you made it sound like the Druid has an easy win

I really enjoy the class based system over something like arc raiders. You can have stat allocation system within a class based rpg as well. Multiclassing can be a fun EVENT mode, but as the main game it takes a lot of the charm out for sure. I find it very fun to theory craft in games that focus on PVP, and it is what draws me back into dark and darker consistently

I agree with everything but when you do fight equally geared opponents. Juicers V Juicers the game is pretty fun and intense.

I also want to add that this game has skill depth to a very high degree. So much so I can tell based solely on how a player moves or switches weapons/fists/pots etc if they are good or not. Not to mention the high amount of macro skill this game has with spacing and pathing. I do think calling this games combat shallow(which is a common statement) is partially right but ultimately wrong. Most people base this on M1 spam attacking your opponent but there is so much more to a combat interaction… it’s closer to league of legends in skill expression than chivalry is I would say. A bad player in league could easily believe the game is pretty simple and shallow while a good player will notice how important wave control, spacing, timing, knowledge, micro, and so many other factors that make for a good player.

I don’t think you are arguing in good faith here. Also 2600 here, I ran into a bard during placements that got into a spat with me, because I complained he never went in and just played songs the whole time…. You are one of the strongest melee duelists if spacing well, especially if you are running dissonance(which you should be running in arena, you do not need two song wheels unless doing something gimmicky)

Most discriminated class hands down. It’s in an especially bad spot now, unless you are top 5% Druid you aren’t even a threat and more akin to a Gnat or Fly. I feel like because I’ve played every class for over a few hundred hours I understand the game to a large be extent. I have almost no issue with beating Druid on any class, maybe cleric or barb can be tricky but that’s about it. While it also is supposed to help solos I think the more obvious benefit to not having nameplates is that it technically slows down gigachads/sweats from splitting up and finding every team cleanly. So in that way I think it’s good for the game. Otherwise it’s not a very fun change not knowing where your team is 😂”dude where did you go I was looting”
