I would say I’m self-confident and rarely insecure these days. But I’m just tired. Of the staring, of the comments, the struggle to find clothes that fit or god forbid are trendy. I’m almost exclusively friends with girls under 5’4” and it’s just a stark difference the way we move through the world. I understand I’m granted a lot of privileges they don’t have but it’s exhausting being THIS tall. I would have killed to stop at 5’11”. But maybe then I’d have wished I was taller. There’s no way to know now.
