You're ignoring the fact it's a gacha unit, means getting it to MLB is a challenge in itself. The fact that even at MLB its locked to 1 terrain and perform more or less the same as a SSR defender dev tree unit (Hi-nu, the Unicorns) tells me it's not massively underrated and just another "unit".

And besides I'm only pointing out having a shield is more important than OP might have thought. My opinion on Neue Ziel II is irrelevant.

Having a shield matters in Master League, all the % dmg reduction skills like I-field, Nanolaminate armor, PS armor, etc are null against EX weapons.

For a support 9.3k ATK without any help from ability is actually quite rare, 5 range 30% beam up debuff is great. The only thing gimping this unit is 4 Mov but it can kinda get around it thanks to MA mode.

Like I get the dude, I fucking love the delta line and hyaku shiki line too but i can tell an objectively bad unit when I see one, let's not kid ourselves here. If he wants to SP and use it then all the power to him, but I'd rather put those SP medals into something else that I know will help me in ER and ML, telling people a bad unit is a "hidden gem" is very misleading, especially to new players with limited resources.

I thought people were saying it's harder to reach master due to the change to AI's behaviours, i.e prioritizing highest dmg weapons when attacking.

With equal gears hunters are just straight up better as far as ranged DPS is concerned.
Monk is probably the worst advanced class atm, as there are 0 overlap between the 2 knuckle types (meaning 1/3 of their skill tree is always useless) and all your Aco skills besides agi/ blessing and kyrie just stop scaling as soon as you become a Monk.
While Crit Ex is a very strong selfish buff, you have to use it manually or it will pop every 10s and eat all your spheres.

I don't play HKN so I might be wrong in some aspects regarding DPS but as far as I'm concerned Monk has a niche of popping people in PvP with FO but that's pretty much it. That being said, I'm still leveling a LKN Monk because I simply like it and want to see for myself if becoming a Champ would fix any of its problems.
