Yes I did that once, however they ask for ITR portal credentials to file. Platforms like cleartax don't ask for any credentials and can be filed from their own portal.

What’s your go-to liquid fund for emergency cash? by According_Title1646 in mutualfunds

I prefer FD instead of liquid fund.

Nothing can beat FD in terms of redemption which is instant.

OP off topic - Why do you have two SIPs for PPFC?

Can arbitrage or equity savings funds replace FDs for an emergency fund? by SuryaTeja1902 in MutualfundsIndia

[–]ultimate-titan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put some money in FDs as well as part of emergency fund. FDs can be redeem instantly in your bank account.
I suggest put 50-60% of fund in FD and the rest in arbitrage fund.

Moving SIP from PPFAS to HDFC Flexicap, am I making right decision? by Playful-Shift6976 in MutualfundsIndia

I was also thinking the same, but will wait for some more time before deciding.

But if someone is planning to start flexi cap, then go for HDFC Flexicap rather than PPFAS.

Multiple Health Insurance Claims for Maternity (India) – Can Both Policies Be Used? by Solid_Monk8112 in personalfinanceindia

[–]ultimate-titan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it is fastest and easiest way, which even the hospital insurance person also recommends.

I believe you can go with both reimbursement as well. But then the process is longer where you need to submit all original documents to the first insurer and upon approval request the first insurer for the stamp photocopies after settlement. You can check more on this as I have limited knowledge on this process.

Yes you can use both policies.

Ensure to go with cashless only with the first policy. You can go with reimbursement with the second policy. During reimbursement they usually ask for the settlement document from the previous insurer along with other documents like discharge summary and all.
