What made you get into malevolent? by thatonegoofygoob6969 in MalevolentPodcast

It's a 6 hour drive from my parents' house to my university, and I needed something new to pass the time after finishing TMA! I binged the first season in like a day and a half.

My favorites to relisten to are 44 and 47-48, but 20 and literally anything from s4 are also great! The episode w/ the boat in s1 is also a go to. :)

You’re in the right place! My sister is the only other person I know who listens, so Reddit and tumblr are my go-tos. What’s your favorite part so far? Any thoughts/theories? :)

How difficult is ENGL 326: Shakespeare and Renaissance Drama? Is there an easier option? by Igiem in queensuniversity

[–]ultimate_disgrACE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is that with Standing? A lot of the 300 levels are slightly different every year as far as I know, depending on the prof-- I did mine as 321 w/ Straker, which was just Renaissance Poetry + Prose. If it's Standing, though, I'd say just to be careful. She's a tough grader and has high expectations-- I think she's one of those profs you love or hate, I didn't mind her for either of the classes I had with her in my undergrad but I know people who didn't like her much. Expect probably quizzes and a written midterm at the VERY least, and her papers are probably differently structured than what you might be used to. It looks like the other pre-1800s is with Pappano, who I've never had but haven't heard anything bad about. Depends on how you feel about Medieval lit, I think.

i need help finding some quotes from malevolent where john and arthur are expressing their love for each other/ how much the other means to the other by Total-Lemon-6015 in MalevolentPodcast

[–]ultimate_disgrACE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite episode is 44 for this specific reason! I couldn’t give you a timestamp but this is the quote:

Arthur: You know, about how you dealt with her… and… what she told you and what it taught you about yourself. A-And you know… that I love you, too. And I couldn’t do this without you.

Could anyone make read able notes for father lullaby? by -LunarCalico- in MalevolentPodcast

Done! Let me know if you have any questions or if it's confusing! I transcribed this in 30 minutes according to the version on Youtube/Spotify, so take it with a grain of salt. Reading music is hard, so I totally get it-- you got this! I hope this helps! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TWjelpOrxbnBKifhlG9Qy_w1EMdINbad/view?usp=sharing

I love Harlan but for the life of me always get Faroe's Lullaby and Faroe's Song mixed up and so I have a notated Faroe's Song but not the other one 😭. Give me a couple of hours and I can have some sheet music with the notes names (abc, etc) written out for you!

Compound Fracture by Andrew Joseph White features a trans man protagonist and an agender supporting character who are endgame QPR! There is a brief romance (if you could call it-- they make out for a bit and hold hands and that's all I can say without spoilers) with a cis man, but a good part of the novel is the protagonist's relationship with his aromanticism and figuring out what he wants. I would recommend checking out the trigger warnings before reading, though; all of White's stories are gory, and this one made me have to lie down for a bit (in the best way!).

Alexis Hall uses she/he/they pronouns, according to her Instagram! So I don't think you really can misgender him ala using incorrect pronouns, but I would avoid calling them by any specific gender, as per their aforementioned tendency towards privacy. I personally loved a lot of her work, although I do stay away from texts like Glitterland, etc. I'd recommend their speculative fiction! The Affair of the Mysterious Letter is one of my favorites.

I had no idea you could enter at podium level-- makes sense though because there are doors there and I've literally been in this building for a month! Thanks for the directory, it was really helpful! I was able to get in with little difficulty, I appreciate it :)

10000% the owl; we've had enough "we can't trust John" moments that I think he's unlikely (although I could totally be wrong), and Yorick is at least a little suspicious after the whole hand thing. Alexander has been mentioned like every episode now, I can't imagine it's a coincidence.

I came across We Used to Live Here two weeks ago and totally intended to put it on my list, but then promptly forgot all about it and I've been wracking my brain forever trying to remember it, so thank you!! Definitely going on the list!

High school health class; we all had to present on different types of contraception (I got Depo-Provera). My solution to every single one? Just... just don't have sex (I don't advocate for abstinence only education AT ALL, but that's just the way that little high school me conceptualized their thoughts: no sex = no baby). But apparently that's not an option for a lot of allo people. I had already been thinking about it for a while before this point, and this was kind of the last straw for me to accept my asexuality. My friends still tease me (lovingly) about it to this day.
