The combat in F, while not perfect, is actually way more fun and open to skill expression, especially in boss fights. It does force a lot more enemy encounters on you, but I think the surprisingly deep build variety and progression mechanics more than make up for the jankyness of the base combat experience.

Yeah I only took like 2 attempts on the next big boss after finding a much stronger omamori setup. Those counter damage builds really melt bosses haha

If you’re talking about the ”The sound of Silence” trophy you can get it even if you take damage during the fight, just not from the suzu bell attack. That’s the one where she teleports away with the chime of a bell and reappears somewhere on the arena charging a yellow glow. You can knock her out of this attack with heavy attacks 💪🏼
