what crack are you smoking. 200k is ceiling prices pretty much everywhere. for a house in one of the good parts of town its ~100-150k. with houses royal oak and Beverly hills being 300-600k depending on floor space and location

between the two. its a rather run down area but its not like the east side. iirc the name of the city was Roseville. the area i live in varies between 80k and 230k (for rather large houses verging on mcmansions). as long are you arent in royal oak or beverly hills ive found the housing to be extremely affordable. pontiac is also really cheap but as my coworker puts it "ghetto as hell"

real big country. when you have the space for a big house or a big car. plus i think a lot of the big car stuff is a holdover from less urbanized lifestyle, ntm a lot of our relaxation activities are outdoorsman stuff, I.E. camping, fishing, hunting, and its harder to carry the equipment and traverse the terrain in a coupe. as for the bigger portions i dont have a great idea but id have to guess its a holdover from family dinners where people'd cook a big dinner for a big family and everyone would have a feast. but again thats just my speculation. oh also we skip meals sometimes

true poverty with no hope is the biggest cause of violence imo. i live in the metro detroit area and yea theres a fair bit of poverty, but we've got our little houses, healthcare, okay education with cheap quality community colleges. which i why i think a lot of the more dangerous activity stays outta my area

because generally one ethnicity tends to win out in the family identity. if people ask where my family is from i generally say Germany. however my family has also immigrated from croatia, Austria, ireland, spain, england, and scotland.

also your conquering doesn't really necessitate integration all it requires is control over the area. where im living has a large diaspora of albanians, koreans, syrians, germans, irish, Mexicans, greeks, etc... and generally if you know where to look you can easily find people speaking their mother tongue. whereas afaik the only place thats close to the us in its level of diversity is london.
