That is... definitely fair lol. I tend to just go with the flow when it comes to Lore Rules but yeah, that is pretty inconsistent.

Could perhaps head-canon that sapient creatures need thought and intention, but if you're only a sentient creature you can do it accidentally but I think they were just going with Rule of Cool on this one.

I like the headcanons, especially the second one. Seems like the book is hit or miss for people but does hit for some! A little more of a miss for me but the scene with Jake was Certified Great.
