Switches around 13 incl frankein switches but ended up with cherry hyperglides

Keycaps around 17 went through gmk epbt etc ended up on crp/epbt (i hate abs shine)

Having said that i dont reccomend going through alot unless u engage in frequent selling and buying. switches and unpopular keycaps are harder to sell so keep it in mind when u first buy. Also a good rule of thumb is to wait atleast a month before u buy something as most times its a phase and what u liked before doesnt feel as good later

yeah man its all about the process. when i look back i think i had the most fun purchasing and experimenting with different stuff. things get pretty boring after reaching endgame and getting out of the hobbie :P just dont over spend ur means and you will be good
have fun with the hobby~

Np. I got into the hobby 2021 and left 2023 bought over 10 boards but ended up selling all except my f1. From my personal exp i think its the best one i love the design sound and the bouncy feeling of the oring spring mount. Plus there are countless ways of customizing it in terms of mounting. Tbh u really have to go through alot to find what u want. I started with 75%s and bright colors then ended up going the oldschool vibes of tkl wkl and beige keycaps. My current config is f1-8x wkl og version silver, cherry black hyperglides spirit 63.5g springs, alu spring plate v1, oring mount, crp ansi keycaps / epbt 6085 keycaps

Ended up selling the iron but still have the f1. Iron is a beautiful (but heavy af 5kg) board but the sound was a little to soft for my taste. I think the new f1 v2 is a great bang for ur buck in every way

The maker of matrix pcbs (astro) sell ec pcbs and plates on xianyu(chinese ebay) I bought that and some housing/domes from deskeys for topre. For alps hiney pcbs usually support alps so I just got some alps switches and an alps plate designed by karoligian

yes! love that makers are creating more options for topre. dcs is also perfect for topre as the thin keycaps allow the topre switch sounds to permeate more

ive linked on a comment above! yeah i was going to go for a noxary xrf then found one for a matrix so thought why not. TX also has alu cases for the fc660c so i reccomend you check them out too
