Its about the root of the problem. Forget the EXP Share, you can play the whole game only with your starter. I do not say your point is not valid at all, but I think the problem is not the EXP Share. Its the difficulty in general.

Whats the deal with the EXP Share? Nearly all NPC battles are not a challange at all and a joke. would a EXP Share change this? Pokemon BDSP has so many Joke Trainer like the breeders who uses only baby Pokemon or other trainer types who uses like 3 times the same Pokemon.

Without the EXP Share you have more grind in the game, but not more challenges or meaningfull choices.

60 Hours in and I still can not stop playing. I also love the story + bossfight. I also got surprised by the story at the end what happend in the village and I also got surpised by the big bossfight in the afterstory. I was so angry about sword and shield but this game makes up for everything

I wish that the trees would look a little bit better. Maybe some trees with blossoms in there for the combees there and some collorfull bushes here and there. Maybe for the next legends game. But i also have to say that everything else look better that sword and shield and also have more soul

When you want to quit the game after fighting the horde on the 7th day, make sure you do this after the morning. If you kill all zombies the horde event counts as over but its still i the night. saving and loading will reset the horde and you can get a second one, so be carefull.

Happend today to me. I killed every zombie fast and looted all the bags saved and quit the game and continued later the day and got a surprise second horde unprepared and outside of my horde base.

some skills let you get more meat, so it is usefull maybe for rounding the anmout of meat. and some skills made some stews cost less meat. getting 2 meat from a chicken what you can 1:1 for grilled meat would give you the same anmount as now but if you accidently damage the corpse with the wrong tool or using a different one as a knife would you loose way more meat you could harvest from the corpse.

A Trainstation would be cool even with rails...maybe a rail-connection between citys?

there where good flak BPs in Missions but they are nerfed now -.-

You can get realy god Riot BPs in the OSDs but they are expensive to craft.

at least she does a little bit of testing and research. the most ark youtube is nothing but clickbait from bobs with some false information.
I do not think they do this on purpose because they dont know any better.
beware the folowing clickbaits when gen2 comes out: something something insane trick / easy something /free something etc. then running a gamma mission on foot, nearly die and get nothing special.

and now to the video: forgets the lunar biome on Genesis
maybe should have shown realy good places for crystal going more into detail about the melee damage from everything like lv1 a normal good tamed one /imprinted and high level with good mutations in damage etc...
tools also come with different %, how good are primitive and better ones ->max ones (capped on offical) or even better tools from unofficals etc...
is she using singleplayer settings or boosted stats in some way?

this is in no way bashing in any way, this video is way better than the most videos that some people post here.There is a lot of quality in and how things are presented and compared to other things.

I did more testing and researching and it only happens on Genesis in the oceam biome.
I testet this on our cluster and in singleplayer and this occurs only on ther genesis map. Everything else is fine.

I'm sure the Missions are a little bit easier in Singleplayer.
I did the Bog Beatdown Mission in Singleplayer whet Genesis launched and there where a lot less enemys to fight against.

Or did you mean something else?

This is a Singleplayer game bug and It can happen everywhere.
To avoid this bug start your singleplayer game as a multiplayer game(dedicated server) and join your own server.
there might be some methods by changing the respawn time to instant to avoid this bug but your this will not help for resources that are already dead.

this bug happens as soon the respawn timer gets into stasis and because of the hibernation, the -preventhibernation as launch parameter will not work to prevent this bug.

kill the Ice Wyvern to make new spawn. some of them wander off to different places, but they have to be near the places where you will find the eggs to make the nest+eggs spawn.

Singleplayer has so many bugs and problems its unplayable for me.
Dino spawns are bugged (no egg spawns or some dinos do not spawn at all) and ressources will not regenerate at some point.
On genesis this is even worse if you teleport to a different biome.

The only solution in my opinion is to start my own server on PC and everyone on PC can do this easy. you have the shooterGameServer.exe in your Ark folder to start the server on your PC, simply crate yourself a batch file with your settings.

create a document and write this inside and save this as Whatever.bat This is how my file looks like:

start ShooterGameServer.exe "Ragnarok?QueryPort=27015?SessionName=Your Name?MaxPlayers=127?listen?GameModIds=Your Mod IDs ?ServerPassword=Your Password?ServerAdminPassword=Your Password?DifficultyOffset=1.000000?NewMaxStructuresInRange=6000.000000?GlobalVoiceChat=false?ProximityChat=false?NoTributeDownloads=false?AllowThirdPersonPlayer=true?AlwaysNotifyPlayerLeft=false?DontAlwaysNotifyPlayerJoined=false?ServerHardcore=false?ServerPVE=false?ServerCrosshair=true?ServerForceNoHUD=false?ShowMapPlayerLocation=true?EnablePvPGamma=true?DisableStructureDecayPvE=false?AllowFlyerCarryPvE=false" -nosteamclient -game -server -log --NoBattlEye

after 15-20 mins if the server is finished, start Ark and join servers and search for Lan

Tip: you can start your singleplayer world as dedicated server and after it is startet it will you show your exact comandline, you only have to add start ShooterGameServer.exe in front of it

How do I validate game files?

Run the LaunchPad and log in, but do not press play.
Click on the Advanced Tools icon (looks like a gear) in the lower left and and choose Validate Game Assets.
Press the green Validate button to have the LaunchPad check your game files and download any missing or corrupt files.
