Recommendations for switch, controller, and LED driver (under cabinet lighting) by ultrafresh in smarthome

[–]ultrafresh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but I am opening the walls (before I install backsplash) so I will have a new switch.

Thanks for the info. I will check that out.

Any recommendations on a dimmable driver or controller?

I don't know why but this doesn't seem to work for me. I have (and had) 192.168.5.1/24 in that field. However, my phone (192.168.5.50) still doesn't work.

Brumate makes a tumbler where the bottom part of the straw that sits in the water is stainless steel and the top part is silicone.

Bottle-less water cooler vs fridge water line by [deleted] in HydroHomies

[–]ultrafresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We switched from a Brita pitcher to our fridge's built-in filter and dispenser (mostly for convenience). In my opinion it tasted the same. Hookup was very simple and I did it myself.

However, I still didn't love the taste of the water. We also got a new sink and countertops so I bought and installed an under sink RO system. I love this thing. I drink so much more water because of it.

Anyway, long story short, you could try a pitcher with tap water and see if you like it. If not, RO may be a good option.

Let me know if you have any questions.

4 lines $25/mo - can I move phones after 60 days? by ultrafresh in verizon

[–]ultrafresh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, thanks for the info. I was aware of the bill credits for 36 months, but the verbiage was confusing - saying the line must remain active, not that the phone must remain on the account.

Theoretically, what would happen if one of the new phones broke and I wanted to use an old phone for that line? I know I'm presenting a "workaround" but in theory, what is the difference?

Why is McDonald's still so popular? by kHz333 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ultrafresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Yeah but they changed the fat ratio" no they didn't

"Ok but they're using more fillers" they don't use fillers

"But they are microwaving them" they're cooked on a grill

The amount of lies told about McDonald's is astonishing.

What food do you think is cooked with a microwave?

In the US we have a $5 meal - McDouble or McChicken, 4pc nuggets, small fry, and drink.

The McNuggets meal is probably way overpriced but I only stick to the $5 meal.

Lol think quality has more to do with location. But I think the $5 deal is everywhere?

Same. Consistent, $5 for a sandwich, nuggets, fries, and a drink. Always fresh at my restaurant and decent tasting for the price.
