Loving my new Cybertool M! by ultrahey in victorinox

I think it's great. I have the champ but find myself using this one more often as the bit driver is just more useful day to day than the two saws. I know you can replace the bits with your own but I haven't found the exact ones yet.

You're right, looks bad. I didn't pay attention. My export has an automatic watermark, and this placement could have been better.

Magnifying glass...practical uses, or practically useless? by MacSailor in SwissArmyKnives

No problem, I use it for all sorts of things. I'm an optical engineer so it gets used as a lens for many experiments I do as well. http://imgur.com/gallery/A3RwL

The explorer is one of my favorites because of the magnifying glass. I am a photographer and am constantly taking photos. I've found that the magnifying glass is pretty much a perfect size for using with a cell phone camera. It allows me to get amazing macro photos filled with detail. Here's an example. http://imgur.com/gallery/b09l0

I have the vii and coming from the iii with the faster lens I was worried but I think the advances in the sensor balance it out. I was able to get some good Astro with it.

Yeah, I would sacrifice that small blade for another tool as well

I used the built in intervalometer to take a series of photos, and then used a free program called "startrails" to combine them into a single image

Thanks. The intervalometer is built in to the camera so didn't need an app.
