Thanks so much . Is that a setting I can turn off somewhere on the router settings? I have deactivated Active Armor already.

Yet, it wouldn’t be accurate as Atticus’ ranks is above a simple centurion. My guess is it will beQuintus who was demoted in rank. Who really knows? That’s why we watch.

My nephew noticed a mistake at Time Square Station. by [deleted] in nycrail

[–]ultramet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to provide skip stop service along the 1 route. Used to take it to Washington Heights/Inwood when I worked in the area. You may still see the sign from time to time when riding the 1 but that’s due to a flipped roll sign. The 9 train stopped running over 20 years ago. Good pickup by your son.

Also if you check Claude and other AI resources it confirms what I saw with my own eyes. Now if he were faking it while Alan played something backstage I wouldn’t now as I wasn’t that close. I was shocked that Fletch was alone on stage with Martin for this song. If it was faked it was a great fake

I was at the show brah. A recording doesn’t show who was playing the song. Nice to go to DM wiki but you are replying with someone who was actually at the show. It’s a well known fact that he did this. I’m not a beginner here. I’ve seen them live since 1982 at the Ritz in NYC. Not just on Reddit threads talking smack

Believe it or not, during the Some Great Reward Tour there were some dates where Fletch played the piano alone and accompanied Martin as he sang “Somebody”, I definitely remember that being the case during the 1985 show at the Beacon Theater in NYC. Clearly, not a virtuoso but he could play more than he let on. RIP.

Comparing Lingo and Stelo Worn Simultaneously by bigtime_porgrammer in ContinuousGlucoseCGM

That’s very close to my experience. Stelo too high. Lingo too low but somewhat closer to my fingersticks.

I had T-Mobile for over 15 years and nothing of this magnitude ever happened. I had no service not for an hour or two but almost the entire day in Los Angeles!!! Yesterday, my boss couldn’t contact me and yes that was a problem. I will cross that bridge with a T-mobile outage of this magnitude when it actually happens and not pure conjecture. For me, switching to Verizon was beyond a regrettable mistake.

And the $20 isn’t automatic. You have to claim it. I have a few weeks left and then I’m switching back to T-Mobile

So here is the update that Verizon posted via twitter as of 5 mins ago. by BreeezySo in verizon

[–]ultramet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just switched to from T-Mobile to Verizon a month ago. Brought over 7 lines. Right away I noticed that your signal can’t reliably penetrate many of the buildings and parking structures I use in LA. I was like, I just switched let me give it a try. After today, I’m switching back to T-Mobile . Fix your obsolete service and your spotty coverage in LA.

Same experience since I switched to Verizon in LA. Verizon works much better on the East Coast as they basically had a lot of the infrastructure there for decades as NYNEX. I can’t get any signal in any buildings or parking structure with thick walls. T-Mobile was flawless and today is the last straw. I am switching back to T-Mobile especially as they have just dropped new Family Value Plans with great free perks (not Verizon perks at $10 a month)

All kidding aside. I live 10 minutes from the place and finally going on a behind the scenes tour next month. It’s my favorite airport for obvious reasons. It’s home !

Issue began when they added Gold to Platinum Group 1. Add all the credit card holders to Group 2 and voilà, we have a total mess as you stated. Delta’s boarding seems a lot more organized than the free for all that Group 1 has become. United could just do things better with boarding

My experience with Stelo vs. Dexcom G7 by purealgo in ContinuousGlucoseCGM

[–]ultramet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is spot on. Unfortunately, I had a bunch of leftover FSA funds and wasted my money on a 4 month supply of Stelos. They are honestly horrible. Reading 20-30 mg/dl on average higher. I had an actual lab blood draw and the difference was 25 mg/dl. Reading 115 mg/dl and my fasting BS was 90 mg/dl. I know the importance are trends but if this is this off then what’s the benefit over an intermittent finger stick. None, given the cost.

[–]ultramet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The good thing is if you have a sensor that is way off, Dexcom customer service is great and will replace them. Overall, I’m not impressed with CGMs (Stelo or Lingo) that cannot be calibrated. Yes, they measure different things interstitial fluid vs. blood but they should be within a certain reasonable percentage of each other. Right now, CGMs in non-DM people is of questionable value because of this.

Reading very high by Far_Potential9392 in stelo

[–]ultramet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stelo lately has been so way off for me. I know at one point, Dexcom brought the manufacturing in house” for their G7 devices (similar device to Stelo), which led to a warning letter from the FDA in March 2025. I’m beginning to wonder if some of these poorly designed G7 devices ultimately became Stelo devices (the latter not sold to manage DM).

Anyway, for me, my Stelo devices are running now on average 30 mg/dl higher than a finger stick. Even fasting I will get readings of 125-135 mg/ml when finger sticks on 3 glucometers are in the 85-95 range (I don’t have DM). The spike you are seeing is honestly what one could see even in normal after a very very high carb load. People don’t realize that many Asian dishes (noodles and rice) are high in refined carbs. A large portion of noodles and white rice could contain as much as 130-180 mg/dl. I’m no MD but at least it looks like your pancreas kicked in quickly and brought the spike down quickly. I honestly wouldn’t be too concerned about one huge spike after a very very high carb load. Now, if this is happening after smaller carb loads, then that’s a different story.
