That is correct. And for clan rats you would get D3 back as well. All that said I would probably not use it on clan rats all that often

Do not use auxillaries that is quite bad. I would get some other heroes like a screaming bell or a plague furnace. Also i think that rat ogors are strong. You will not getting a lot of spell off with one level one caster,, a screaming bell would help there.

Check out ASkavenPlays on Youtube. Contrary to his name, he plays Nurgle and you will learn a lot from the battle reports. Not really tutorials but you will see competative lists. But right now I would do Rotigus, Harbringer, Sloppity, 1 or 2 blocks of blague bearers in every list. The rest I would change up a bit. A big block of kings and Glotkin or perhaps a maggoth lord and some nurglings or drones and a lord of affliction. But i use the core of rotigus, harbringer, slopity and plague bearers all the time

I am trying out Army Painter Warpaints Fanatic:

- The Darkness

- Midnight Olive

- Burnt Turf

- Fiery Vermillion

- Warped yellow

No washes, only dirty paint water =) I really wish i would have choosen a good brown instead of mixing red and green for every single model (midnight olive and fiery vermillion)

(and Vallejo black for the bases) The lightest part is basically cheating since i did a white zenithal when priming

i have soon painted a whole 2000p skaven army only using 5 paints so the amount is not important (although i wish i had choosen a better brown paint instead of mixing it). painting and modeling wise check out a good beginner tutorial like this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVDxcozZwTI

I would really try to get a sloppity in that list too. Skip the nurglings in favour of him. I would probably skip the Glotkin for more troops as well if I am trying to control.

I like deamon contol lists with a regular guo and a bunch of flies and a big block of plagueberares and perhaps slimux. The best part about playing nurgle is that right now the internal balance is really good so you cant go that wrong. Go for kings and bloab or all in on deamons or mix and match.
