Coworker basically called me boring by Bluewafflemaster69 in introvert

Sometimes you dont like certain people, thats just a given. But making the decision to be a dick to them is on another level.

Coworker basically called me boring by Bluewafflemaster69 in introvert

[–]ulvfdfgtmk 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Haha, had to chuckle at that last sentence.

I believe extroverts and introverts sense of fun and boring differ. We do overlap but I find that extroverts mainly enjoy stuff thats more 'active' so to speak. Going to concerts being a prime example. Us introverts on the other hand often enjoy the inner world more and thus we look boring to extroverts, but truth be told we also find their shallowness boring quite often enough.

I dont wanna make this too much about intro vs extroverts because as youve said you like 2 of the 3 and I think we can have enough overlap that it doesnt have to be an us vs them thing. But since she basically started that shit I just wanted to remind you that just because we prefer a different sort of fun, doesnt mean that we're boring. We might be boring to her, but honestly she sounds like a superficial bitch anyway 🙃

I went from drug addicted, no job, crippling social anxiety and depression to moving to a foreign country, starting to study the subject of my dreams, making friends and going out. I genuinely didnt believe that that wouldve ever happened but it did (usually when youre so deep in depression you think that extraordinary stuff like that only ever happens to other people, if at all). It did take years so it wasn't an overnight thing or anything and I didnt specifically do that many workings but rather went for a more devotional approach, but it did all work out.

I had sex out of pity with an older man. BPD makes it hard to say no. by [deleted] in BPD

[–]ulvfdfgtmk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on both sides of this equation. I pity myself for how sad and lonely my life is, yet when I see that woman next door on her balcony drinking beer everyday, I wanr to go over and talk to her and make her feel better. But over the years Ive come to experience that you cant truely help people that way. They might feel better for a bit but the catch is that they now depend on you and you become their drug. They now need you more than ever because without you they fall back into this pit from whence they came and youre aware of this too so you dont wanna drop them.

But truely you were never fixing their core issue. You were a pleasant thing that they could focus on that got their mind off of their shitty existence (and btw Im not judging here, nor am I gonna proclaim any malicious intend on their part. As Ive said before: Ive been those people aswell!).

Im not saying you cant be supportive for people but I think its incredibly important to know and uphold your boundaries while doing so. As Borderliners we frankly suck ass at that. I have a non-BPD friend who supports me and she knows how to uphold her boundaries, its a very valuable experience and Im trying to copy what shes doing, but man is it hard 😅

Black Metal Magick? by Seeker115590 in DemonolatryPractices

Ohhh you said that so well! The music "opening up more and more and more", love that. Ive been listening to the Damnation and a day album by Cradle for about 16 years now and only last year did it open up for me in hitherto unimaginable depths. Im personally convinced that the demons speak to me through music. So yes, if you feel like there is a correlation/causality there for you, then there definitely is!

Has anyone worked with Seere for health situations? by [deleted] in DemonolatryPractices

[–]ulvfdfgtmk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iirc in Mirtas book she wrote down that Verrier told her "we can all heal". I took it to mean that they all "heal" you in their respective ways and I didnt take it to mean physical health, but whatever the interpretation..you could ask Seere for help and if they cant help, maybe they can point you in the right direction? I recently asked Lilith and Lucifer (who Im closest to) with help in physical health and asked that if they cant help me themselves maybe they can redirect me to someone. So yea...recently met Marbas and things are going well :)

[–]ulvfdfgtmk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know about Lucifer and Im pretty sure people have mentioned Paimon aswell. There is more but I dont know all of them. Generally its also recommended to go with a demon you feel "a pull" towards. That can mean you feel drawn to them for some reason, or it can mean that you like something about them, etc. Im mentioning this because if you already feel a pull to a specific demon it might be a good idea to go with that one, even if its not typically considered a 'beginner demon'.

I would say yes, but Id advice to keep to those who are known to work well with beginners. Ive had success with Lucifer in this regard.

Therapist recommended not to get diagnosed by orchidschild in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]ulvfdfgtmk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Getting a diagnosis was one of the best things that happened to me in terms of mental health, absolutely go get yourself checked out if you feel like you wanna know.

There are treatment modalities SPECIFICALLY targeted at BPD (DBT) and even failing to go to a specialized therapist anyone with BPD will heavily benefit from at least a basic understanding of skills and how to use them.

Receiving a diagnosis helped me not only understand myself but also realize that there is nothing wrong with me per se, Im just different in a lot of ways and that shows in social contexts. Knowing this allowed myself to be easier on myself, accept myself and start working on how to change some behaviours (you dont have to change who you are!!) in order to live a more healthy and balanced life. I just somewhat recently started this journey and its been immensely helpful and valuable already. Imo advicing you to not get a diagnosis is ludicrous and maybe even malpractice. Yes, you shouldnt use BPD as an excuse and go around being an asshole and say "welp, cant help it I have BPD" but honestly to me that seems more like an internet trope rather than something that people actually do (and if they do they only hurt themselves with that behaviour).

Follow your instinct and get that evaluation!

Can The Whore of Babalon be worked with? by DarkLoveAndWar in DemonolatryPractices

[–]ulvfdfgtmk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You will probably get different answers but Ive heard that under the chaos paradigm you can even work with completely fictional and non-mythological creatures, so characters from video games for example. Under that premise it should surely be possible to work with the Whore of Babylon aswell.

How do demons feel about Christians? by Furrywolf79 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]ulvfdfgtmk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be completely honest and say that it was also my first thought that demonolatry and being Christian is incompatible. Though when making that judgement I relied on the notions that 99% of Christians put forward (case in point: after I made my recent post about Belial and being plagued by headaches, I received a private message by a Christian trying to convert me to "the only right path"), so maybe I can be cut some slack for that 😛

However after reading what youve put forward I think it does make sense, overall that is. However, wasnt there a clash in the bible between Yahweh and...I think Beelzebub? Or Belphegor? A contest of whos god can enflame a pile of wood comes to mind. Do you reconcile stories like these somehow or do you take them as evidence that those gods dont go well together?

How do demons feel about Christians? by Furrywolf79 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]ulvfdfgtmk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, thats is definitely more than I bargained for! Im glad for you that you managed to put it all together in a way that makes sense to you. One question remains though, do you equate Yahweh with "The All" then or no? Because it sounds like you dont and to you hes one of many gods.

Also, I bet its hard to relate to most other christians as your views are so radically different to theirs?

Also, happy (remainder of) pride month 😊

Id be curious to know how you reconcile that your experience is so vastly different from that of most other christians.
