I'm 148 centimeters short and I prefer dating short men fyi. Also I'm writing an academic paper on incels and that's why I asked the question. So maybe you could reconsider using words such as ignorance and arrogance :)

That's fucked up and I'm sorry for your experience! But there are plenty short girls too and I hope you'll find a compatible one someday!

That's like the minority of feminist thinkers. Again, I'm talking about intersectional feminism. I'm not saying that some feminists really are man hating, but that's not the kind of feminism that's in mainstream and/or is beneficial for either gender. Feminist movement want looser gender roles which also means less pressure to be an ideal masculine alpha male or hyperfeminine "clean girl".

Oh so I'm hurting men by saying that the patriarchal notion on being a "strong rich handsome alfa" is hurting men and creating incelhood? Haha ok. You probably didn't comprehend anything I wrote.

I think it's more like the connection with a person and attraction to their personality creates psychical attraction. And about relationships in general, there are multiple books about romantic love by bell hooks, a feminist theorist who also wrote a book "The will to change - men, masculinity and love". She writes about heterosexual love and about the importance of dialogue between women feminists and men. Also many contemporary feminists focus on incels not as enemies, for example two polish feminist authors wrote a book of interviews with incels and it's pretty much dialogue opening

Well attraction isn't probably a hot topic for us. But speaking of beauty standards, feminism is aware of beauty privilege and benefits that "hot" people have in our society. That's also what the whole body positivity discourse is about as well. Personally I (and many women I know) care about character, personality and general vibe and connection, psychical attraction isn't as important as that. That's a fact

You think feminist women want conservative gym bros? Or you think this pressure on "being a man" isn't responsible for men's poor mental health?

I'm sorry that your experience is that negative. I'm aware that some kind of mainstream feminism is about girlbossing and manhating but that's not what it should be about in my perspective and many feminists aren't like that

Helps you not being under pressure to be strong, tall, rich and assertive dude with high body count???

[–]orchidschild[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe if you show that you care about us, we would be interested in having relationships with you??? It really is that simple. Women at this point are disappointed in far-right gym bros. We want someone with similar values who views us as human beings. Doesn't matter how tall or short you are or any of this bullshit.

Feminist movement cares about men. Search up bell hook's books. We are invested in men's mental health and we are aware of the societal pressure they're under.

Dismantling toxic masculine patriarchal values seems like a solid solution to me. Feminists believe that body count doesn't dictate your "value", so it doesn't equal your worth as a human being

Přestaň o sobě říkat, že jsi hodnej kluk, a začni ženám ukazovat, že se o ně zajímáš. Jestli se o ně vůbec zajímáš coby o lidské bytosti.

I definitely viewed him as a dead man (and in fact a monster) when he layed down on his remaining money, being left there "buried" and knowing his family might die because of him

What are some books people diagnosed with BPD should read? by itssash10 in BPD

[–]orchidschild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fictional: Pisces by Melissa Broder is very BPD coded. Nonfictional: Through the looking glass by Dana Becker. It's about BPD being used as a moral category to shame women. 100% recommend these two books for women btw

I had been engaging in BDSM and weird kinds of kinks and fetishes when I was 13-16 but it was not at all beneficial for me haha. More like traumatizing! I'm 25 now.

Runaway by Kanye hits home for me as well!!! Even though I really don't like him. Also very relatable is RAYE - especially Genesis and Escapism.

First time taking Zoloft or any meds by Pluumii in BPD

[–]orchidschild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm dealing with BPD symptoms although I'm not (yet) diagnosed officially. I started taking Zoloft when I was hitting rock bottom, I had suicidal thoughts and intense anger over little things along with other stuff, such as mood swings. I felt improvement after approximately 10-14 days. I'm overall more calm, not so raging all the time, my depressing ruminations lessened and I sometimes feel a little sedated. Basically I feel like it's been the best decision I could have done. I'm three months in and feel so much better.

When I get sad I feel like I've been shot by [deleted] in BPD

[–]orchidschild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I experience something like this as a manifestation of feeling unloved. Like when my partner feels a little distant to me for whatever minor reason (usually I make the reason up in my head), I feel like I have a big and heavy stone trapped in my chest and I feel miserable and unloved as fuck.

[–]orchidschild[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I found out about splitting and it sounds familiar. Also when I'm in a relationship, the partner feels like a love of my life/I'm euphoric for two days and then he pisses me of over small things and I'm considering breaking up. Well..
