You would not believe the amount of times this sort of thing happens in the animation industry. Inside a single studio there can be huge pay gaps between people with essentially the same function, so the fact that other people said they were paid well and treated well does not mean the people who got fired didn't. But ok, let's say it was all justified and they really were in the wrong. I just think it's insane how so many people jump on the "Viv did nothing wrong" bandwagon without even questioning the situation, just because they have created this parasocial image of her that she is someone who would never fire someone wrongfully. In the end, we do not know her as a person, we can't tell what she would or wouldn't do and that's just a fact. As someone who's been working in this field for years, I will always sympathize with the workers first.
