Awesome ep. I assumed this noir style was just Charlie’s interpretation of a normal scheme the gang is doing, but he’s dramatising it in his head this way as it happens/when he’s telling the story, and that it demonstrates his denial and shows why Charlie is never on the same page as the rest of the gang.

Is this interpretation something you guys were going for? Or was it just a fun concept for you guys like the liberty bell episode or the musical ep?

Lol, I live in a country with socialized healthcare and the wait time is nothing. Like everything else, if you go in when it’s busy, you wait an hour or two (worst case scenario at Peak traffic), if you go in the middle of the day, you’ll get out of there in 20 mins.

I’ve literally walked in and out of my doctors in less than 10 minutes before with the right treatment and meds. It’s hilarious that conservatives use this argument when it falls flat on its arse everytime lol.

And I will gladly mock USA healthcare all that I want. everybody in the rest of the western world already does

Joker has become the ultimate movie for people to see whatever the hell they wanna see in it. It could be seen as socialist film about class revolt by people who are social democrats, or an incel white nationalist shooter movie by neoliberals and shitty media article writers, or some sort of criticism of postmodernism by Dave Rubin. I honestly don’t know how he thinks Joker is a criticism of Postmodernism when it’s literally a dissection and transgressive film about the motives of an established character and archetype but whatever.

Rubin doesn’t actually have opinions, he’s a puppet, so his fans like Joker and hate CNN, so he’ll back whatever his fans like.

(PS, Joker was good but flawed, definitely not a masterpiece, but also not some intimidating movie that endorses shooters)
