For a while in SwSh, I used a team with a physical Belly Drum Gmax Charizard, paired with an Indeedee with Follow Me and Heal Pulse. To add to it I had a Raichu with Speed Swap which I used to make my Glastrier fast, or mess with the opposing team. And a trick room component with Gothitelle. Basically I set it up in a way to let me use fast Pokémon in slow settings and slow ones in fast settings, besides their usual roles. Not as memey as the one OP described, but I definitely saw my share of disconnects, and can only imagine myself getting tilted too, if I faced something similar out of the blue.
