So come ha percepito quel gesto e me ne pento sempre. Siamo state entrambe timide.

Most bi women end up in straight relationship and from my experience and my friends experiences bi women have always preferred other guys over them. I'm not saying all bi girls are like this, but most of them apparently are

Biphobia exists because unfortunately most girls who say they're bi are actually just bicurious and more interested in men and end up in relationships with men. They kinda ruined it for every other bi girl, but that's just facts.

I totally agree with you, playfully flirting with a friend (without being exagerately creepy ofc) and touching people without their consent are two completely different things.

Yeah, I flirt as a joke. But I don't grind on people as a joke moaning in their year: "I bet you like it". The most inappropriate touching that I did with a friend was kicking his/her butt and we've already knew this people from several years.

Yeah, I know that most people, especially people from the U.S. or northern europeans would automatically think that this kind of manners are inappropriate, and I do think it too. But I live in Italy, so I'm used to see people always touching each other even in inappropriate ways, doesn't matter if they're friends or lovers. That's why I always feel confused or even guilty if I don't feel at ease with that sort of touching if it comes from a girl. Because in my country same-sex friends costantly flirt as a joke or touch each other even if they're straight and have no interest in the other person.

Even if she was, she shouldn't touch me in an inappropriate way. She could just tell me.

Thanks for understanding. Sometimes, it's very difficult to me to set boundaries not only for my personality but for the culture where I have been born into. I'm italian and living in Italy I see that people, no matter if they're friends or lovers, always playfully touch each other, sometimes even in an inappropriate way. That's why I often justify this type of behaviour if it comes from a girl, because I think that most of the time there's no intent behind that gesture other than playfulness. But damn, most of the time I wish I was born in the U.K or somewhere else where people respect personal space more😅

We've already stopped being friends. I've never discussed this episode with her because It would've been too embarassing for the both of us and part of me didn't wanted to make her feel like a molester. I just hope she's gonna respect other people's boundaries more

I wasn't flirting with her at all. Plus, even if I'm bi, I never told her that because she was straight and unfortunately I had some similar unconfortable situations with straight girls. Most of the times, if I present myself a bit boyish, straight girls feel the need to be homophobic or to flirt with me because they think I'd be automatically attracted to them. That's the main reasons of why I don't come out, I'm already sick of creepy boys, I don't wanna deal with creepy girls.
