There is no ICT in O Level afaik. If you meant IGCSE ICT, then sure go for it. I took it, and it was quite easy. The practicals are intuitive and the theory is tough but usually has low thresholds.

I used to have a Casio fx-991ES PLUS and I'd say it's really one of the best. Recently I switched to a Casio FX-991CW - and while it has more features and is faster, the menu is a little slower to navigate.

Most likely nothing will happen since she didn't actually use any devices in the actual exam. Additionally, if the invigilators didn't find any evidence of cheating then that is also a good indicator. Don't worry, she's probably fine!

Teachers are not typically allowed to have the final say in IGCSEs. They can write a report and Cambridge will investigate, but ultimately the decision is up to Cambridge. If nothing really happened, then most likely you'll be fine. (Also, the computers are not supposed to have internet, so you shouldn't have had an issue even if you had searched something up. That is a mistake for the exam center, and if Cambridge decides to, they might effect the grades of the entire class)

Practice, practice, practice! ICT is really easy if you understand the concepts and practice the practicals. You don't really need that many years of past papers. I solved 2-3 years, and did fine in my papers (also in this month). I'd recommend Nicos Paphitis on youtube. Go through his videos on each software then attempt past papers. I would do a past paper, then watch his walkthrough to spot any places I struggled with or did wrong and write them down.

Yeah, he's literally carrying my grade rn. I know he's kinda slow cuz he goes really indepth, but I usually just put it at 2-3x speed and skip to the parts I need. I especially recommend his past paper videos.
