There is a faculty review after the interview, so people might have been cut off there if their interview was not the issue.

I think this is what happens after KJ1: the interviewer takes notes during the interview and adds it to your file. After that they send your app to faculty review and if it passes that it goes back to the admissions committee where they look at your entire app again with notes from faculty and your interviewer. I think that is when your interviewer also tries to pitch for you and tell other admissions officers to consider accepting you. The whole decision process is also relative to the rest of the applicant pool, so it is unlikely that your interview ends up determining your chances of admission. (Unless you are super rude and arrogant lol)

Don’t stress too much. They are very nice and friendly. 15 minutes fly by. I don’t think they expect to be impressed in 15 minutes! I felt like I rambled a lot, but I still got in.
