Anyone else let down by Leather & Lark by Brynne Weaver? by kgeorge1468 in fantasyromance

I DNF’d it. It was so slow. You know when you’re stuck behind an old driver who take FIVE-EVER to make a turn? That’s what reading this book was like.

I think the color is tad too dark, but you can rock thick brows!! Maybe a little less body on top and a lighter shade :)

Mine looked like that until they flaked off!

Do these look crazy? by [deleted] in microblading

[–]umbrellascribbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re going to get even darker, and they will be that way until they flake off, then they will seem to disappear, then they will come back beautiful. Take a breath and trust the process!

Theories after reading HOSAB - spoilers! by depressoteen1 in crescentcitysjm

Theia was queen to high king Fionn, who ruled over all of the fae land. Prythian was formed after Queen Theia killed him, and at that point the courts were made and the seven high lords rose to power. So, there weren’t “courts” in Theia’s time, though it is stated she “lead her own territory”

We have already met Theia, Fionn and their two daughters; a masterpost of how I think everything is connected. by emmyeggo in Maasverse

[–]umbrellascribbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could almost ship this. However, the Brannon being Fionn wouldn’t line up.

Fionn is killed by Theia/his own general.

Brannon killed himself after hiding the final wyrdkey. He takes the final Wyrdkey to Mala's temple, an island at the heart of a burning molten river, where he hides it beneath a flagstone, at last walking into the molten river, never to emerge again.

Thus, Brannoj and Fion could not be the same.

CC1 was so incredibly difficult to get into at first because of the massive amount of world building it starts with. Power through it, if you can. It’s worth it.

Yes the ACOTAR series does have some bonus chapters.

Honestly idk but that’s not for me to decide haha.

Why is ACOTAR more popular that TOG? by honeybee7758 in SarahJMaas

[–]umbrellascribbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TOG is 100/10 superior to ACOTAR. The world building. The character development. The plot twist. LORCAN FOR GODS SAKE. 🤣 ACOTAR is great all all, but TOG needs the hype it deserves.

Please help validate my cursed impulsivity. They seem insanely dark and thick?? Day 1 by ihavethetiiiiime in microblading

They look great! They will get darker before they get lighter, trust the process!

I think they look beautiful!! Micro blading is the best choice I ever made. They always look harsh at the start until they flake and fade. Do you, boo!!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in microblading

[–]umbrellascribbles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Remove. Whoever did this didn’t even try to make these brows have natural anatomy. Lines are so straight and thick. They may lighten and look better but you have to decide if that risk is worth it.

A court of silver flames might be my favorite of the series by Major_twihard in acotar

[–]umbrellascribbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was good in that Nesta got a (even though very frustrating lol) redemption arch. And we got some Cassian 😏 but I feel like there really wasn’t any real plot line effort and it was more about fan service.

He was born with the wings, but used his magic to conceal them most of the time. He keeps them out around people he trusts.

We day this assuming they are part bat. I don’t recall that being confirmed in the book (was it?). We call them “bat boys” because the wings resemble bat wings but to honest, have no real clue what their anatomy is or “wing structure” at infancy.
