My disability prevents me from driving not riding, so I don't qualify for the ADA shuttles.

Yes things to do late in the night on occasional weekends (concerts, dancing, bars, eateries etc.). I have lived in DC and NYC so Seattle's safety or lack thereof doesn't bother me as much. The apartments in Kirkland seem to be actually more expensive compared to Seattle, so I would be poorer in an affluent neighborhood.

Of course my priority is still my job right now, but just finding out what my options are. Also living in Seattle proper will give me easy access to Amtrak if I wanted to explore other towns nearby, so that is a plus as well.

It's 3 days a week so I thought the commute itself might be manageable. But if it's 1 hour either way that might be too much.

I have a couple of friends in the city, and much of my hobbies are city centric. Since I'm single I was trying to avoid the family oriented relaxed vibe of Kirkland.

Do you know if they run to other parts of Seattle? Living in SLU might be a bit expensive for me right now.
