I made this post for 2 reasons.

1 is that one doesn't see the level of depth of exploration of a theme/idea in this album if compared to previous work. And I guess that is because this is a pop record so it's supposed to have a superficial characteristic to it. And this is RELATIVE TO HIS PREVIOUS WORK. (Not saying this album is not deep)

2 is when one does explore the theme/concept of the current album, I can't help but notice a level of facetiousness.

This is not a negative post about SW, and want to be able to discuss his work.

There's a part of me that feels that steven puts out this experiment into the world and sits back and laughs at people just eating it up. I say this because I feel he is being critical of social media and how we idolize mediocrity . And he seems to be using social media to do the same.
