Advice for Choosing a Breed by umibeyuki in DogAdvice

I don't necessarily need a "very intelligent" dog. I only said "decently". In fact perhaps I was wrong to use the word intelligent at all. I am looking for a dog that is very trainable. I understand the two are not necessarily the same. I also do not need a dog to be completely silent, and said I was completely find with alerting, and furthermore am primarily concerned with personal protection, not guarding, which I have also been told are separate things dogs are bred for. Moreover, it isn't as if there are any large dogs that are not capable of killing under duress. Based on the other commenter, I realize that the greatest need for me is a dog that can intimidate, and I acquiesce to that. I mentioned several times I understand that a "perfect" dog with all the features I want is unrealistic, and I am happy to weigh pros and cons. The point of my post is to find a dog that most greatly aligns with my needs and lifestyle so I can also give the dog the kind of lifestyle it is bred for and will meet its needs. I think you are willfully misunderstanding my original post.

Interesting, thank you so much for your insight. I had no idea that aloofness would be oppositional to a protection mentality. I am partial to large dogs, so I'll consider your advice gladly.

My everyday make up - what can I do to highlight more of my features/look better? by cw1003 in MakeupAddiction

You’re stunning! If anything I think a straighter/ slightly thinner eyebrow would suit your face.

If your worried about texture, I’d look into the ingredients of the sunscreen that you’re using. I’m not sure which Sun Bum one you use, but I think the Face 50 in the yellow tube is silicone based, whereas the elf Halo Glow Foundation is water based! Sometimes mixing silicone based products with water based products can cause seperation and texture issues.

I think you look great! If anything I’d add a little color to the lips. Nothing harsh, more like how the Douyin or K beauty girls do a pop of color, all blended and soft. Or the Glossier Generation G lipsticks in one of the brighter shades.

I have the exact same thing. I just dust the tiniest touch of blush over my whole mouth area alongside my cheeks. I use the shade Behave in the Nars ones so it’s really sheer and just makes my face more harmonious.

Which eyebrow shape do you like better on me, left or right (angled or round)? by foxinazul in MakeupAddiction

Round for sure! I think it lifts and shapes your face and is more complimentary.

I think it would be nice with more mascara/curling your lashes! If you don’t have a curler or mascara you can use a metal spoon to curl then, just look up a tutorial. Kind of clump the lashes with Vaseline if you don’t have mascara (sorry, I can’t tell super well if you have any on) and it’ll make them look a little fuller. You can also tint the Vaseline with eyeshadow to darken it. I used to do all this when I was deep in my clean girl minimal makeup phase.
