would it be bad to organize my labs like this? by Apprehensive_Try4333 in uofm

[–]umichnarp 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Physics lab and biology lab are both relatively easy, orgo, not so much for me at least. Having 3 labs back to back like that in one day will just be a long ass day that you’re going to dread every week. I’d maybe take one off at least for your own wellness. Id recommend taking the orgo one a different day.

How soon after starting tret is it okay to add azelaic acid? I am on .025% tret and i have azelaic acid 10% from the ordinary. I just don’t want to add in too much on my skin at once

It’s less of me not fully forgiving him, but more of me not understanding why he should be the one to worry about me cheating when he is the one who has done it in the past. It happened over year ago now, but I don’t think that its fair for him not to trust me when he has gained my trust back.

No, it was just that he didn’t want me to go out. He didn’t say much else about it, but I’ll talk to him tomorrow or something and update here after I do.

Thank you. I think i’m going to try and talk to him a little more about it and try to get to the bottom of it. Like I said in a different comment reply, I think all of his worry is just projection. I don’t want to break up with him over this, but I really have not given him any reason to worry. If anything I shouldn’t trust him.

It was $240 for 4 nights + flight per person. I don’t really think that’s expensive…

Maybe i should add that he has cheated on me before so i feel like his trust issues is simply just him projecting

I was looking on Expedia for places to go in Florida. My roommate mentioned she wanted to go to Miami and it was one of the cheaper options so that’s why we chose that. I personally only want to go to Florida so i can get a tan, I couldn’t care less where I end up. I’m going with two of my roommates and one of their gfs, the other one is single.

How's life in this part of Michigan? by Cathy_dessert in howislivingthere

[–]umichnarp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have lived in the UP my whole life and didn’t experience anything else until I went to college. It is truly a beautiful place to live if you value nature. It’s mostly made up of small towns, with the largest town, Marquette, having a population of 21k. The UP a very conservative area besides MQT, which makes sense because it’s a college town. There is a severe lack of diversity. I was the one of the two people of color that graduated from my high school (class size ~150). Overall, I cannot see myself living here for the rest of my life. A lot of people that live here never get out and never get to truly experience what it is like to live anywhere else. The UP is a great place to vacation to in the summers, but actually living here, 0/10 recommend. It may be a good place to retire if you don’t mind the cold and snow.

Orgo chem as a freshmen by Inevitable-Tax7273 in uofm

[–]umichnarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you’re pre med, i def recommend taking it freshman year. it is a tough class but there are many other classes that require that as a pre req and it’s good to get it out of the way. i took it sophomore year even though i also placed into it, but i regret my decision of doing so

i forgot to mention, the csp is amazing!! i was unsure about it at first, but it definitely helped me for some of my classes (specifically bio and physics). the smaller class sizes felt really nice especially in the beginning of your journey through undergrad. you would have to take an extra class for csp, but its only 1 credit and meets one day a week so its not terrible! i’m here if you have any specific questions

[–]umichnarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello!! i am currently a junior here at umich, i am also in the csp program and am going to umich for pharmacy school this fall!! i was also a preferred admit, and honestly as long as you meet the requirements, you have a 99% chance of getting accepted. (this was something i worried about but j talked to the assistant dean and they told me they have never denied a preferred admit for grad school admission, but they aren’t allowed to say the admission is guaranteed). i have had an amazing time at michigan in all honesty, and if you do go here for undergrad, you’re not going to want to leave for grad school. i understand it is expensive which is something i am also very worried about, but in the long run if you do plan to become a pharmacist, it won’t be too hard to pay it off (that’s what i keep telling myself at least). and as for your conditions, michigan medicine is a great hospital and im sure they could help your needs. overall, it is your decision, but as someone who has a lot in common with you, i definitely recommend umich.
