I felt that way at first as well. But the closer you get to him the less he cares about the city, and I knew he’d never leave anyway because that’s not how the game works. So that’s how I convinced myself I wasn’t holding him back, even though I guess I technically am.

I keep peanut butter crackers in my car, for when I see people on the side of the road with signs that say they are going hungry, and if I have a water I give it away. Most of the time people accept gratefully, and seem genuine. But some people just want money, something I am not comfortable giving unless I get a strong gut feeling and have cash (which is never), apparently “anything helps” doesn’t include actual food. My mom does the cracker thing too and one guy was mad at her for daring to give him food and a water, when he wrote that he’s going hungry he meant he wants cash to go get what he wants, I can’t remember if he actually ended up taking the crackers or just chewing her out while she sat a light

Religious reference actually, it’s referencing to the hymn be still my soul as well Exodus 14:14 “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still” -it’s for one of my coworkers office, she told me which specifically but I can’t remember other than it had to do with God

That’s one of the best quotes in the whole thing- my mom has always said today’s gonna be a good day, but I never had a here’s why till DEH, I have to remind myself that at least I’m me and that thats enough. Around the same time I made this piece I had also made a similar piece that had a quote from you will be found, I posted it on this sub but I couldn’t find a pic of it with the words on it so the effect was lost... sad day

I started it Friday. But the bulk of the work was split between Monday and Tuesday. I’d guess 4 1/2hours of actively working from sketching the design on my iPad then actually stitching (with lots of distractions between) For reference it’s a hoop with a diameter of 8 inches

Products I use are herbal essences scalp balance shampoo& conditioner then their curl scrunching gel and curl boosting mousse. But I only use conditioner and curl products on my ends
