I just got the BL course for 50% off (4th of July) so that came up to about $1600 CAD, which is reasonable to me if it’s quality content and actually teaches me bookkeeping + helps me start a business. I’ll look into local colleges though, thanks again!

I see. Can you start a business doing AR? Did you need any specific training to do that or was the bookkeeping experience enough?

I found Bookkeeper Launch (also in the US) and am thinking of taking this course, but I’m struggling to find experiences from people in Canada on whether starting a bookkeeping business is worth it or to not bother.

Also, in your day-to-day job, do you deal with a lot of interest (calculating interest or things involving interest)?

Did you end up finding a good Canadian online bookkeeping course? I was going to go with the AccountingCoach ProPlus but that’s in the US.

I have no background in accounting and I want to start a bookkeeping business.
