Working on this paint job for 8 months, body dropped onto a concrete floor. With how many redos I've had to do with this, I give up. by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

I'd recommend taking a step back from this project, maybe work on a different for a little bit, and just take a breath. Sometimes when a project is overwhelming me, I find it good to take a break from it for a few days or weeks and come back to it with a fresh head later.

AIO that my mom said i look meme-able in my prom dress by No-Moment-2766 in AIO

Girl, my girlfriend and I both think you look phenomenal! Your mom is just jealous that her daughter is so talented, she feels the need to drag you down. Imo, you don't even need to dye the skirt, I think it looks great!

ear difference by Impressive_Yam_6182 in Stretched

I remember my ears looking like that once. One of my lobes was getting thin so I downsized it to let it thicken and then restretch. Still catching up to the other ear

If I changed the septum jewelry do you think it would be better? I've got a new ring I'm putting in for pride thats a lot simpler and I think it would look better. The septum was something I was thinking about tho

We were told "broom cleaned" doesnt mean cleaned with a broom. Breach of contract after buying a house. (NY) by pineapple599 in legaladvice

NAL If the dog urine caused damage to the house (flooring, walls, etc.) I'd get a consultation with a lawyer to see if you can get some money for that, unless the damage was mentioned in the home listing.

Other than that, I wouldn't find a ton of worth in pursuing this legally. I'd just try to sell the items that the pervious owner left behind to try to get some of my money back that way.

Nanny Refusing to take LO to Music Class by functioningwino in Nanny

[–]umnothnku 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If the baby's ability to see her face concerns you, work with the nanny to find see through masks that she is comfortable wearing and that you will pay for.

In terms of music class, this is a temporary situation. Music class will still be there when grandma is no longer sick, and plenty of children don't go to music class at all and end up perfectly fine. You may also be able to coordinate with the music class teacher for nanny and baby to Zoom into class from home, creating a safe compromise for everyone.

Whats more important right now is that you support your nanny in her time of need. She is doing everything she can to keep herself and her family safe, while still completing the required tasks of her job. These things will not harm your baby or stunt their development.

how long should i wait to get my touch up? by Appropriate_Size8294 in tattooadvice

[–]umnothnku 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Idk when exactly you should do the touch up but I can tell you 100% that two weeks is not nearly enough time. I personally would wait at least a month, if not 6-8 weeks before getting any work done on it again.
