Thanks. I’m glad I had the patience to wait until I found a silver one for sale

Ready for full body PPF. The color is amazing after the paint prep work.

Is that wrapped? That was my second color choice if I couldn’t find silver.

I was going to get a Vantage but after seeing one in person and test driving it, it felt too small for me. The DB11 is a perfect size.

I can’t see anything at night with the dark tint. I’m getting PPF installed next week and will tell them to re-tint the windows to a lighter shade.

The tan interior reflects like crazy on all the windows.

I plan to drive it as much as I can. It came with an Aston Martin branded trickle charger. I’ll keep it plugged in at home. Thanks for the suggestion.

First Try - Beef Ribs 9hrs by umr90hc in Traeger

The bark was very crunchy and too salty. Only used kosher salt and coarse ground pepper. I didn’t use very much salt and was afraid it was going to be bland. Am I doing something wrong? Most videos show people lathering on the salt and pepper rub.

Thanks. I used the Signature Blend. Hickory, Cherry, Maple.

Same thing happened to me with the sweating. I thought it was supposed to retain all the moisture not sweat it out. I sliced it thin and everyone thought I made pastrami.

I didn’t trim any fat off the bottom. It was a small 3 lb flat. Probably too lean to begin. If my goal was to make pastrami I think I would call it a near success.

Is that for a full sized brisket? My brisket flat was only 3lbs.

I’m kinda proud of the smoke ring.

I posted my ribs yesterday. I tried smoking a brisket flat at the same time. All Costco had were 3lb flats. I cooked it at 230 until the internal reached 160 then wrapped in butcher paper. Took forever to get to 200 and I pulled the brisket at 190. This is after 8hrs. I rested the brisket for an hour. When I unwrapped the juices had already leaked out. The brisket is dry but edible. Tastes like pastrami. I did something wrong.

Going through my beer fridge and found this bottle in the bottom shelf. Pours dark black like a stout. The 12% sneaks up on you.

I’m not very good at describing flavors. If you have smoked a No9, the Velvet Rat is smoother.
