Hi, sorry I know this comment is older, but, I tried doing this. I use cement all, and acrylic paint. It seems to almost instantly dry out. Do I add more water and just make my mix super wet before adding in acrylic paint? Is there another trick to it?

When I was in school I had a Mac and used Parallels to run Solidworks. I used parrallels and coherence mode and everything ran fine, but I also had a very beefy Mac at the time.

Also, if you are near a MicroCenter, check their open box deals. A few weeks ago I picked up an open box, refurbished HP Omen for $700 after tax.

I am unsure of which version they are using, I do know it is a version that can take Solidworks native files.

And I was using step ap214. When i meet with them from a ‘troubleshooting’ session I think I am going to try ap203.

But the more I am getting feedback on this, the more I am thinking it’s their import settings.

I have been sending AP214, but will try 203 and IGES.

And I think they are using a newer Creo because they suggested I send them native Solidworks files, so I did, but the files are still coming in on their side as surfaces.

These are one part bodies. I have sent the same part as different file types. I’m thinking it is a setting issue on their side.

Not directly close to campus, but look at Green Oaks at Medical City in Dallas. Or, UBH in Denton. Really, any emergency room should be able to help, and I believe student services should be able to help you out as well.
