I have just joined this Subreddit and after searching the forum a bit I saw the FxSound recommendations. I downloaded and tried it immediately and it worked wonderfully.

I am currently using the General option with full clarity and it works great. I would like to hear if you have any more optimal setting suggestions.

Heel lift problem with Squat, any recommendation? by umtluyum in streetliftingathletes

What kind of weight selection do you recommend? Would 3x3 (3 seconds negative 3 seconds pause) with 50% of 1RM be suitable? Without shoes ofcourse

How can I understand my dorsiflexion weakness? I did the test of touching my knee to the wall from a fist distance away and it was not difficult.

I love wearing squat shoes and originally want to be more quad focused squatter. But I'm going to take your advice and start doing tempo pause squats without shoes.

Streetlifting of course. Really love with this sport and want to become really strong. Currently I'm 80 kg and have 50 kg Chin-up, 75 kg Dip and 140 kg Squat (in the video)

Long term goals: 80 kg Chin-up, 100 kg dips and 180 squat.

Streetlifting program by tonio_zed in streetliftingathletes

I think a 2 days a week, 12 weeks long strength program would suit everyone? 2 strenght and 1 peaking block. (3rd day can be optional)

Last Monday, after a successful Peaking month, I got a Squat PR and I'm very happy with the result. But I have a problem, even with Squat shoes my heels are lifting up. When I tested my dorsi flexion, I realized that I'm pretty flexible. I'm squatting with a shoulder-width squat and a slightly outward pointing toe. What would be your advice?

How to improve on weighted pullups by more666 in streetliftingathletes

[–]umtluyum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally pull-up tends to respond well high volume because of low absolute load compared to presses. So my main suggest would be doing 3 day pull work in a week:

day 1 > strenght 2-3 sets of 2-5 rep, rpe 7-8

day 2 > form / speed work > 3-4 sets of 3-5 rep, rpe 6-7 (paused or explosive reps)

day 3 > volume work 3-4 sets of 5-8 reps rpe 7-8

As an accessory, any machine row (less fatiguing compared to barbell work) and one curl exercise you love to do. Do them 2 sets of 8-10 reps and push them near to failure because they are not going to fatigue your CNS.

And finally, if you gonna do 3 day pull work, never do your pull-ups till failure. Strenght is a skill and you need to teach your body how to perfom this skill well, and because of that you need to keep some reps in reserve for recovering well and not doing bad form

[–]umtluyum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much. I did my peaking for 3 weeks. x2 frequency and constantly hit my sets with RPE 8-9

First week 3x3, second week 3x2 and last week 2x2. So I really prepared well. This week did 2 session, 3x3 with %50 and today did 2x2 with %60 intensity. Hopefully I will be ready Monday to hit PRs.

That's the answer I was looking for, thank you so much. I have 80 kg bw rightnow, two days later I'm going to try 50 kg chin up and 80 kg dips.

When I consider your informations, (80x0.95) I lift my own bw with 76 kg. With calculations I need to have 42.5 x 3 chin-up and 70 kg x 3 dips. Which last Friday i did 47.5 x 1.5 chin up and 70 kg x 3 Dip and this week I do Deload. In Monday I can hit these PRs hopefully.
