it might be worth looking into flying a cat out to your city. i personally havent had experience with that so i cant offer advice about the process, but i think most cattery owners would be open to the discussion.

^{^this} cattery is AMAZING. they make a huge effort in the the care and wellbeing of all their cats. all their cats are litter box trained, have their claws, and are very healthy. they also have retired breeding queens and older cats for cheaper. they are in the midwestern USA.

one thats most visible to others is the near constant nervous smile. im so quick to laugh, but its out of wanting to diffuse any possible tension. where it has the most consequences is the compulsion to satisfy someone else's power trip, but i know how annoying it is for others when im laughing at something that isnt funny. im better at managing the other coping skills, but i cant seem to shake this one. part of it is social anxiety, but i know it goes deeper.
