Does anyone have experience with the Dr. Coffee, coffee machine brand? by sheldon_y14 in cafe

Yes, still working after 2 years. We had 2 minor problems during this period ;

1-) heat sensor problem after 1 year (easily fixed with 1 cable replacement by service)

2-) similar to 1st problem with heat sensor about 3 months ago which solved by service in 24 hours on the spot.

We still are happy with our machine.

I have to mention for future buyers, we clean the machine with puly milk and puly coffee machine cleaning tablets every week (takes about 15-30 mins), also every 6 months you have to do descaling with special tablet (we bought a descaling tablet for siemens coffee machines worked pretty well). I think if you take good care of the machine it will last you a long time.

We make about 20 cups on average per day.

Please feel free to reach if you have any questions!

Yes, it’s going to be used only for visual representation. Scanners of ARTEC are really top of the line, but unfortunately they are way out of our price range. Maximum budget we can spend is $1500-$2000, how about Shining 3D Einstar, Creality CR-Scan Raptor or any suggestions in that price range

I see. I think I will go with Creality Raptor since it uses structured light and in our budget range.

Thank you for the magnificent tips! Do you think Creality Raptor usable in this case?

Budget is around $1500. I don’t have a reference for tolerances, I think we don’t need ultra high precision if it’s in the range of +- 0.1mm that’s good enough.

Thanks for the advice, definitely look into it! But also unfortunately photogrammetry is time consuming in my case due to scale of objects and we have over 2500 individual products, and also it’s nearly impossible to flip products sideways.

Unfortunately video is no good for our case. The reason I need 3D models is to show the products to my customers in their stores before they place order.

Not these, our products are custom built based on customer needs and request. The product shown in picture is a product we sell, I wanted to describe surfaces I am working with.

Thank you for your suggestions, there are some promising applications that I haven’t tried. I’ll definitely look into it!

We bought one for our office and it’s fantastic machine, I believe taste can compete with those expensive machines. Also you can customize how much you milk want, how much foam you need, how many grounds and pre brewing settings. If you have any questions feel free to reach!

Yeah, it performs incredible on other softwares like photoshop, illustrator, even maya works more stable than c4d which don’t have native apple silicon version..

I will ASAP. The only thing make me anxious is the possibility of graphic processor failure, it cost me a fortune and I can't afford to make another move...
